hellooow does anyone know how to reduce the size of a .gif animation, so that when you post it on a website, it will run smoothly without being all pixelated and staggery? thanks

I used Adobe Image Ready to edit animated gifs before no problem at all. I often used the "Save for Web" option to reduce the file size, but not lose quality. Adobe Image Ready works wonders for it. It allows you to edit the animated gif frame by frame and gives you the option of saving an optimized version without losing too much of the quality. I used it when I was making animated gifs for livejournal. Back when the limit for a file was 40k. Hope that makes sense Reason for Editing: ack sorry. Little to no sleep makes me a bit of an idiot!
