When i was a kid, there was another artist i used to listen to. Just before i discovered The Beatles, and i used to think The Beatles saved me from what wouldve been a drab existince. But even years afterwards, it became a "closet pleasure". Now there's this thing called "Elevator Music" in which, this artist i'm talking vaugly about is thrown into all because of his love songs. But there's alot of other songs that he did that, believe it or not, actually rocked. I used to have his live album on 8-track (Any of you youngsters know what an 8-track is?) I wore that sucker out! I will say this i LOATH love songs because i have have no one to aim them to, so until then...NO @!$^ LOVE SONGS! But thankfuly, he's not all love songs, much to popular worn-out belief. Now, i'd like to ask all of yall, before i let you know the name of this other Piano "Rocker" i admired. What is your definition of "Elevator Music" and would you give anyone a listen who was even rumored to be in that ugly catagory. I myself, try not to discriminate or label.
Let me guess: Hearing love songs makes you sad, because love/romance is something you want to have. So everytime it threatens to bring you under the ice, you shut it out so you won't have to dwell on the emotional pain.
