Hey there. I've been lurking for almost a year and had forgot a made an account a while ago... ;D thought it was about time I introduce myself.
I'm a 22 year old Bostonian whose had Tori on the brain for more years than I can remember. My curiosity began in '95 when I was driving with my mom in Vermont and "Silent All These Years" came on the radio. I had heard bits and pieces of it before but for some reason that day it really stuck with me, and for some reason the line; "but what if I'm a mermaid in these jeans of his with her name still on it", which was such an amazing mental image for my six year old mind. Anyway, I fell in love with the song, but never knew who sang it.
Then in Christmas of 2003 one relative got me "Tales of a Librarian." I was convinced I didn't know who this artist was or any of the songs but I gave the cd a listen to anyway. When "Silent All These Years" started playing I knew I had finally found who I'd been searching for.
From then on out, Tori has been such a monumental part of my life. Through the death of my father, my first breakup, and horrifically losing my house to a fire, she has been a constant hand on my shoulder, pushing me forward.
I really don't know how I could thank her for that.
