Hey honey Well i know them... seen them on the teevee now and again. But i'm not really into them. They are okay i suppose. I wouldn't mind them seeing on a festival, but i don't feel the urge to buy their album. lol! Anyways, i hope you enjoy the gig! You shake those hips girl! ;D Love and stripes, Sarah

Seen them on tv like Rasp... I haven't quite made my mind up yet, sometimes i sit up and think "Cool", then i hear them again and and don't feel so impressed - and visa versa... I'd put them in the "Maybe" section when it comes to buying the album - but live at a festival i think i'd definitely check them out. Going from the few bits of live footage i've seen, i think it could make for a good show.

All of the live reveiws I have read describe Craig (frontman) as a crazed, guitar weilding madman, and he goes into these "sharman-esque" trances and they trash their equipment (which is very passe, but kinda ) ... Wow, I guess I never got to see Nirvana live , never got to see the Doors , never got to go to the Isle of White and see Jimmi ripping into his Fender Stratocaster, upside down, with his teeth and playing behind his head.. Ah, hangon.. I'm NOT saying the Vines can ever expect to live up to this genius and pure god status, but I do like to go a bit crazy myself at times and think it's a great way to vent! ;D Also - the album as a whole (in my humble opinion) is worth every cent. Depends on your taste of course, but wow - i haven't heard good stuff like this for a while!

Same here, i feel the same way. And Voxi, i must say i quite agree with the critics for once, and i do think they sound like a mix of Nirvana and Beatles. Some song are sooooooooo Nirvana, and others are sooooooo Beatles. It's quite good at times.

yes... i read a revue in a magazine and they weren't really impressed by the album. They sound too much like their gods. (Nirvana - beatles, ...) I dunno, i haven't heard the album. But it's not like i would buy their album... lol! Like i said, they are okay to see on a festival... but i wouldn't go further into them... Well, that's my feelings about them!
