I got it today, I started listening to it on the subway, and I danced around, while sitting, people were looking. hehe I love the brazilian influences, you can here, that jack and meg visited the country. they use barimbas and nice african drums (the slaves brought to brazil 300 years ago).
Oh, i really love the cd. but I haven't listen much, so I will see how it grows on me.
Who else already listened to it?? ?? ??

And for me you can also add the 10th anniversary Delux Edition of Paul Weller's 'Stanley Road', and the new Turin Breaks album. It's like a cd avalanche at the moment! ;D

Only listened once so far. I'd say on first listen it's the weakest of their albums to date. Not many songs really grab me... Having said that, i keep getting Red Moon in my head - which is really strange since i really didn't like it when i listened to the album. Maybe i should listen to it again to see if i'm remembering it differently or something... ;D

It may be their weakest album, but then again, that's still a far cry better than a lot of people's best albums.
I think that perhaps some of the song writing is not as tight as their earlier work. on the other hand, I really like the fact that it sounds spontaneous, that it just sounds like a couple of people playing music in a room, not doing a hundred takes to get it exactly right.
I've only listened to it a few times, so I suppose I should give it a while before passing any further judgement.
