Listening RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Heard KOTM and now Pi... am still not so fond of KOTM, but it's prolly to do with the whole Elvis thing (I HATE ELVIS. )... I'm loving Pi tho... jazzy, bluesy almost. ^ hahah, well, mad or not, those lyrics SUCK. Tori fans would rip T a new asshole if she ever wrote anything like that. lol... well, that's typical of some 'so called Tori fans', they put her on a throne quickly, but if she does something which they don't like, they kick her out. They are so high demanding. A lot of them take stuff so seriously. Like 'Hoochie Woman' and 'Ireland' got the shitload the last album... what for? They are fun. She doesn't always have to create inspiring and deep meaning songs, now does she? Anyways, I yet need to hear Kate doing that washing machine tho... ;D

DONE IT... I only have listened to each song once and I'm pretty overwhelmed. I'm SO happy and relieved. My Kate is back... back back baaaaaaaaaaaaaack!! :tori2: I didn't mind waiting all this time... she came out with something absolutely AMAZING. I only have heard it once, but I crown this album to: 'ALBUM OF THE YEAR'. For all the creative, passionate and stunning music. (minus Mrs. Bartolozzi's lyrics ;D) My favs so far are: Bertie, How to be Invisible, Joanni, The Painter's Link, Sunset, Nocturn and Aerial. I absolutely HATE 'Mrs. Bartolozzi'. OMG, what was she thinking? This album will keep me warm for years... till T comes up with something new.

Seriously. Same story with Kate here - I always skip that song.

Meeeeew!!! I absolutely love the new Kate-album!! It isn't as multi-layered as the dreaming or hounds of love, but I love that she did a 'ninth wave'-piece again! She's sooo fucking good at it! I've been listening to it non-stop already. I've put on the beekeeper now because I do need to take a breather now lol!

Poor Mrs. Bartolozzi faces a tough room... Seriously, it ain't about a washing machine. But OMFG - has this been worth the wait! It still hasn't unseated The Dreaming as my favorite KT album, but this is really amazing stuff. "Joanni" gives me the shivers... so utterly chilling. Other favorite trax are "Coral Room," "How To Be Invisible," and "Nocturn"... "we become panoramic"... great line. Like all of KT's music, it's going to take months of listening to really scratch the surface here. "Les voix du feu Chante avec moi petite soeur Les voix, les voix..." Wuaow.

Nice review Raspie, Mrs. Bartolozzi boring? for all the contraversy it's getting here? hehehe, hope ur feelin better today btw Yeah, I think some songs on Aerial are like 'elonged'... I dunno if that's the right word. The songs feel stretched to me. And Mrs. B... I love the piano work and I know it's not a song about washing machines. The idea is really touching... but it doesn't do anything to me, 'cos I feel like this song was run over by a truck. I dunno if I make sence... I dunno, maybe this song will click in the future... or maybe not. Will see... Nah, not feeling better... had to stay home from work today.
