I'm a HUGE 80's lover as well. Strange isn't it, when you grew up in the 80's??? I have 4 or 5 cd-boxes (4-7 cd's each) with great singles from that era (without the really big artists, like Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Wham/George Michael, Queen, Prince, Phil Collins, Dire Straits). And I have a lot of 'Best Of's' and 'Greatest Hits' albums from artists like Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, The Cure, OMD, A-Ha, Europe, Eurythmics, Prince. And I have all albums from the Pet Shop Boys (80s, 90s and beyond) and Iron Maiden. The New Romantics is great music too, and all those electro-keyboard stuff (PSB, OMD), or the 'heavy' metal from that time, which really was nothing more than plain Top 40 music (Van Halen, Whitesnake, Iron Maiden, Poison and such). Damn, remember such great songs like Love And Pride (King), I Like Chopin (Gazebo), Don't Answer Me (Alan Parsons Project), Bring Me Edelweiss (Edelweiss), Star Trekkin' (The Firm), What's The Colour Of Money (Hollywood Beyond), One Night In Bangkok (Murray Head).... And let's not forget Doctorin' The Tardis from The Timelords (aka The Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu aka The KLF aka 2K)! Aaaah, I feel old Reason for Editting: Doctor Whoo-hooo, hey! The Tardis. ;-)

Oooo 80's fan here. I went thru my black period... black clothes, safety pins as earrings, black nailpolish... the whole chabang. ;D I started with my gothic/New Wave/punk period due discovering some artists my dad introduced me to. I am NO fan of the 80'is pop like Madonna and all that shite. I was really into (and still enjoy listening to these artists) gothic and punk. I grew up with many of these artists due my dad. His music collection is huge. Some of the bands I like... in no order! - Talking Heads - The Mission (their song 'Wasteland' is one of my all time fav songs!) - Sisters Of Mercy (fav song 'Temple of Love', think I played this song 1000000000000000000 times in my short existance.) - The Cure (only their early work) - The New Model Army... ('Thunder And Consolation' is my fav album, anyone into 'Gothic' should check this album out, magnificent!!) - New Order Due I love mostly the Gothic/New Wave/Punk bands/artists, I have a lot of artists from the 70'ies (who were the start of the whole Gothic scene...) which I like as well, such as: - Elvis Costello - Joy Division - Patti Smith (I still prefer her older work after all these years...) - The Clash - The Ramones AND SO ON...
