A week and an half, guys! May 2nd is the official release date, but I guess it will be available on May 1, just like the new Tool album. (...........) I just figured out that May 2nd is a Tuesday. Strange releasedate for Holland. So when it will be May 1 (monday), on April 29th it will be for sale in stores already! We'll have to wait and see I guess.

And indeed, Play.com confirms May 1st as date of release! And there you only pay €14,49! Or 8,95 GBP! And no shippingcosts! www.play.com/play247.asp?pa=pab&page=title&r=CD&title=930596I think I will order it here. I will have it a couple of days later, which is no problem, bacause I will have the new Tool album on May 1 as well. It's crowded as hell this spring with new fantastic releases! Last year it was only Tori, and then 6 months nothing really important for me, except Epica.

LATEST UPDATE! [glow=red,2,300]PEARL JAM LIVE AT GELREDOME, ARNHEM, TUESDAY AUGUST 29!!![/glow] Presales starts next Friday, April 28! For the first time in 6 years they will visit Holland (Pinkpop Festival, and I missed their Rotterdam Ahoy' concert, cause this was 3 days AFTER the Roskilde-disaster, so that show was cancelled back then ). And when I get tickets it will be for the first time since the No Code-tour ('96 or so) that I will see them. Even I said in the past, and recently to a collegue, I will never ever go to Gelredome again! (getting back by public transport is almost impossible, and mid-days it's even worse!!!!). But I will make exceptions for Pearl Jam when this will be the only show in Holland! Check out www.gelredome.nl/publiek/index.asp?p=3&id=67

August 30, PJ concert in Antwerp, Sportpaleis. A MUCH better alternative! But still I have to stay over there for the night, cause I still can't get back home. Hmmmm.

They're playing in my homeland on 4 and 5 but though I go there on vacation, I leave on 24 August...I would love to see them there but maybe I will go see them in Arnhem...Antwerpen is also a good alternative (I could always go shopping before the concert...any motive in good enough to go shopping in Antwerpen ) but with so many alternatives better to think about them well before some mistake is done. I am really looking forward to see them

You go to see them in Arnhem? I am going too, plus my boyfriend and 2 friends. We bought the tix at the Rotterdams Dagblad. I had no idea they sold out so fast. Luckly we were there early.

This cover is really... interesting So far I've heard two songs from their new album Severed Hand and World Wide Suicide and i have to say that I'm not excited by these two songs. I mean they are good, after all it's Pearl Jam , but I think I expected something else. It reminds me of Riot Act very much. Especially musically. And I'm not big fan of Riot Act. it's good and lyrics are good, I jst don't like melodies, it just doesn't give me chills and the same thing is with these two new songs Maybe if I listen to the whole album

Way to go girl! So you have fieldtickets as well? Lilith, the new album is pretty 'raw' or 'rough' but it needs some spins before you get used of the songs and recognise lyrics and melodies. I LOVE "Life Wasted"/"Wasted Reprise" and "Come Back" is just BEAUTIFUL after listening it 3 or 4 times. It's between "Black" and "Betterman". And "MArker In The Sand" is also a very recognizable song. Love it. But never judge an album after a first listen BTW: Where is Deborah? I bet she would love to go to see them in Antwerp on August 30th! She is a big PJ-fan as well!

Yes I have field tix. Just hope I'll be able to see something because I am only 1,60 m tall and Dutchies are way taller than me . I already have a fave from the album: Army reserve. Is it me or "World wide suicide" is like "Do the evolution" part II?

It's cool you all have tickets. It could be our last chance of seeing them alive (not that I think they will quit soon, or things like that) here in Europe.
4 months and counting! Just a few days after my holiday.
