Yes. Diamanda Galas is definately not for everyone, but her musical skills are beyond talented. An awesome pianist with a unique style and a voice really diverse and reaches over 4 octaves. I find her really entertaining.

Wow... You know what this reminded me of.. I mean, the images in my mind (I closed my eyes to listen to it)? Of all of the "witches" and "unholy" people who were burned and hanged and stoned and pressed and drawn and quartered and otherwise "destroyed" by the "Christians" during the inquisition, and here in America during the "witch"hunts. And thier afterlife, one of rage.
Excellent, Jamne. Thank you for posting it. You're right... she's absoulutely amazing.

I think she's the voice of all the reprised ( dunno if that word is correct ) and misguided people, who have had to live in silence, though their inside moans for attention. You should check more of her stuff from youtube. Glad you like her too!

Well, again, Thank you for posting. I can see where she'd be an aquired taste for some, but I YEARN for intensity and diversity in my music (hence my addiction to Tori), and this wonderful new artist (new to me, anyway) has certainly impressed me to those ends. I'd love to see her live.

I think it would be like a religious experience seeing her live. Some people might see her just as an howling cuckoo. But there's so much more to her. Raw intensity is quite hard to handle, but she pulls it off with an amount of credibility within. Here's "I put a spell on you".www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMWR1SesqM0Reason for Editing: ...
