I love the unplugged thing... Streets of NY or whatever it is, is a great song... I like her music, honestly...but you hacve to forgive me, I have a very eclectic taste in music

Is she gay? There were rumours this week but she denied them... I just realised that I own 2 copies of Songs in A Minor

I think Alicia is talented but I only like a few songs. For someone who is a classically trained pianist, every time I have seen her perform in the past year or 2, she hasn't played much piano. She plays for the beginning of the song & then gets up & starts dancing. That bugs me. India Arie is MUCH better, love her.

(she's also a black lesbian in the music industry, and she's still selling a ton of records. go alicia!) Really?!? I saw her on a gay network "Logo" where she said that she didn't believe in gays and lesbians. Which made all the respect for her I had get thrown out the window. However, She is talented a good voice but really is not my thing.

I think her song 'No One' deserves the award for Worst And Most Irritating Vocal Performance In The History Of Music.

^ I didn't mind the song the first time I heard it, but the more I heard it the more I felt like punching someone!

Haha! I feel the same! I heard it live the first time and it was ok, but the video version is irritating.

i like her, not enough to run out to a concert, but i think she's far more talented than most stuff on the radio. (i had her second CD but it was stolen at my ballet studio. )

He he I have to admit that although I like her a lot... I'm starting to hate No One... It's everywhere, you end up hearing it 174674 times a day even if you don't intend to...
Someone told me that No One made the Guiness record for airplay, song played the most in one day on the radio (worldwide), not sure how they calculate lol... Alicia bring us a new song!!!!!!!!!!!

I think her song 'No One' deserves the award for Worst And Most Irritating Vocal Performance In The History Of Music. Amen to that!I really can't tell why that song is such a big hit in Holland (well, I can tell you, because Dutchmen hardly have any good taste) and it's still on the radio every day And her new single isn't any better. I really can't stand her music and her singing.

I think her song 'No One' deserves the award for Worst And Most Irritating Vocal Performance In The History Of Music. I couldn't agree more ;D I think she has amazing voice, one of the best in the music, and I loved "Falling" but I don't really like rest of her songs. And like someone said here, she doesn't play that much piano on concerts. She dances more. And I think that's what irritates me.

Tori mentioned in an interview that Alicia has attended a couple of her shows. I found that interesting.

I think her song 'No One' deserves the award for Worst And Most Irritating Vocal Performance In The History Of Music. Actually, I think her latest "Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart" takes that cake... oy, I have major issues with it. I was into her when she first got big. Her album Songs in A Minor when it came out. And it's not that she's bad, but I've just generally lost interest in most things that are played on the radio... because I rarely listen to it. I read something recently, I think it was in Rolling Stone mag that put her in the same category as, like, Mary J Blige because of their "Big" Voices, or however they put it. Personally, I don't think Alicia has that great of a voice.... or at least not in the way she's been using it lately. But I'm not denying she's talented. I have to give her props for making it.
