Once won the Oscar for best song!!!!

I'm still super excited and super happy cos Falling Slowly from the Once soundtrack won the Oscar. The soundtrack is by the Swell Season = AKA Glenn Hansard and Marketa Irglova!!! They are the main characters in the movie and also do all the songs. The movie is been a big success in the US and I think here in Europe it's starting to catch up. I really really reccomend both the movie and the soundtrack, absolutley fabulous. The movie it's a tiny thing, done with 2 handicams in like 15 days and w/o professional actors. But it's a really honest and moving movie and the songs are heaven.

nah, they're the most incredible, laid-back, down to earth lads I've ever met. they were already huge in Ireland, so I know first-hand that fame didn't change them
