"carrot between your fingers, lettuce in your pocket"
crouched on the living room floor
sitting in that classic indian style
ripping apart the packaging
looking to go that extra mile
open up the device
what a nice device
hope the screams and cries suffice
the reason for opening this nice device
i slip you in
let the fun begin
begin the evil sin
hoping i will win
blown away
not much to say
time just ticks away
kneeling down to pray
my first time at this
feeling your audiotic kiss
need to take a piss
but your songs i just can't miss
i feel so melancholy and free
no way else to be
sitting up in my tree
catching that glimpse of lily
tonight, tonight
wanting to fight
can't lose your sight
living on your white bright light
taking me down
down to your underground
mind's turning 'round
turning 'round to your sound
going where the boys fear
shedding just one tear
haven't touched my beer
loving the idea of your career
listening tales unearthed
those tales of a scorchered earth
feeling the need for rebirth
delivering the afterbirth
we sing along
from dusk to dawn
children on the lawn
don't know i'm your pawn
from twilight to starlight
my wings begin to take flight
and boy what a sight
i'm as high as a kite
i open up your pages
and see the four of you standing there
a carrot between your fingers, lettuce in your pocket
zero on your shirt, playing with your hair
