I told Sarah about this a few nights ago, and thought i'd also mention it here... I caught part of this documentary that was about Arnold Schwarzenegger's campaign to become governer of California. Now i expected to see a few things that would make me roll my eyes (this is, after all, the guy who when asked about his views on the enviroment answered with a big grin and just said "Don't worry 'bout 'dat! Ha! Ha!" : , but i couldn't have expected to see the mother-of-all insultingly dumb things that i did end up seeing. The woman and camera man who were filming the documentary were walking around at a convention being held to drum up support for Arnold Schwarzenegger, and as they passed by what must have been the tenth booth giving out t-shirts and badges the camera closed up to the stand holding all the badges... There, in clear view, was the dumbest badge i have ever seen in my entire life! It read:- "First Iraq Next - France!" If this guy ever becomes President of the US then i'm leaving the planet. Seriously. Talk about history repeating itself...

He wont become president if for some reason this country passes a bill that allows foreigners to become presidents, which I think is going through or being talked about right now. Looking at this through every possible angle though, I cant say for sure if it will pass, but if it does, and he does get to do so, I'll join ya in in leaving the planet.

There's a lot of people in-the-know about US politics who are very sure that the whole non-US-born-citizen being able to become president thing will eventually get pushed through. And lets face it; foreign movie star becoming president of the country that lovingly adopted him as one of their own is a damn good hook if he ever was to try... I think the best hope for those who don't like the sound of that future is that he majorly screws up now he's governor. And i think that's a fair possibility since there's a big difference between running a successful PR campaign, and running such a massive state. I mean he got into the position through catchphrases and avoiding one-on-one Q&A situations - certainly not through telling people his ideals and thoughts on how best to deal with any of the problems he'd face once he became governor. The sad thing is that i used to respect the guy. He was a good action movie star, and nobody really played such parts as well as him. In his place he was the best of his type (no matter how dumb an area it was to be 'best' at). But now he's so far out of his place in the world that it makes you question the sanity of the world. Part of me looks to the future and wonders if things will just continue to get worse in the US. If Bush is a chimp, then Arnie is a gorilla... Shit, we are turning into The Planet of the Apes!

Let's wait and see what happens on Nov. 4, a day I'm highly scared of for obvious reasons. If Bush wins, then anything is fucking possible

Yea if Bush wins, he's gonna diplomatically isolate France. Ah well, it's all about politics and diplomacy.

Gosh, how do I hate Dubya!!!! Anyway, say that Ahnuld is going to be a president of the US in a few years, well,at least we should be happy he's such a dumbass,I mean, let's do this: take the first plane to Washington DC?make some fake badges(maybe hire the Lone Gunmen, yep,I know ,I've seen too much X files episodes! ),infiltrate the White House, and whisper German stuff in his ear while he's alseep, things like : ' Tori Amos rules,PJ Harvey rules, make E-star Vice President ' and so on,it'd work!!!! You could all chose a nice job !!!!
