Has anyone else heard anything about Neil's book being made into a movie? I thought I heard about it months ago, but then nothing.

Moved into the movies section. The IMDb entry seems to have it down as a 2008 projected release: HERE.A Google search for "Coraline"+"movie" brings up quite a few results, but from a quick look a lot of the info is around a year old. One of the early results led to a forum thread with various bits of info in it: HERE.I'm guessing you already checked his website/blog/etc...? From what i know of Neil, if there's info out there which is worth knowing about any related projects he'll usually openly talk about it.

I love Neil Gaiman´s books but when I read Coraline I was SO bored. It´s quite possibly the most boring book I´ve ever read.

I enjoyed it so much I tore through it in a couple of hours! I actually prefer shorter novels to longer ones. It's so hard for me to get into books anymore. If I can't get into them in the first 20-30 pages, then it usually doesn't get finished.

you THINK? i really loved it. it's a creepy story for kids! Yeah, it´s strange that I didn´t like it! Considering that I love all of his other books, including Stardust etc.

It is a very quiet little story... creepy, but quiet!

I read it and liked it, which is funny as I thought I wouldn't...I have many books by Neil and I've been so busy that I haven't read any of the adult ones, well..just a few pages....but only read all of "Coraline" and "Wolves in the Wall", loved that one too and he signed it... it was going to be for my unborn baby, but I will not turn this into another subject- and a sad one at that...just ...I like children's stroies, but then I did get both for more than myself...
