i don't really know much of his stuff (it's been sitting on the bookshelf just waiting for a break from school)...but stardust is definitely worth reading.

I've only read "Coraline," and that was years ago, before I got into Tori.
It was pretty good, if I remember correctly.

I bought it and read it during my tori-in-germany-tour. After that I read American gods and now I just finished Anansi boys. All of those are rerally good books!

I almost read all his books... bes big fan. I suggest you start with 'Stardust' and then 'Neverwhere'. Those two remain his best books in my opinion. ('Neverwhere' is my FAV book EVER!) If you like those then I suggest you checking out the others.

And to add that 'Snow Glass Apples' is a brilliantly fucked up read! I think that if Neil wasn't a writer (and didn't have somewhere to channel his weird thoughts and energy, he would be a psycho serial killer who would never get caught!

I'd say Stardust as well. I started with Sandman and still think it's one of the most brilliant contemporary stories. But I know many people can't stand the comic/graphic novel medium so I dunno

Sandman's still his best stuff.
