I decided to give 'Stardust' a miss, I just do NOT want it to ruin one of my fav. books of all time. I know a lot of peole like it, but the parts I did see, sucked monkey balls and I just don't want to take the chance. lol. Movies of 2007 which I still wanna catch at the cinema are: "Elisabeth: The Golden Age", "Beowulf" and "Sweeney Todd". Saar, trust me: you will love that movie. I ended up watching that movie with some friends, and believe it or not, but I had no idea that the story was actually written by Neil Gaiman. (The only book I've read of him was 'American Gods' and, well, that's a completely different genre than 'Stardust'. Plus, I don't read that much, so I just didn't know. Even as a huge Tori fan, I just didn't know about 'Stardust' and Neil.)Anyway, I was watching the movie and I loved the vibe it had. It has something magical, funny, romantic... but all in a very good dosis. While watching it, I was like: 'Wow, I wonder who wrote this story. It's amazing!' At the end, I suddenly saw the name 'Neil Gaiman' and so I was pleasantly surprised. I got the book for Christmas and I'm reading (and really enjoying) it now. So what I'm trying to say is: the movie made me wanna read the book also. And that says a lot, since, once again, I hardly read. And I must say the movie really does the book justice, and vice versa.
