It's a kind of sequel to "A Night Before Christmas" also from Tim Burton. I saw the trailer some weeks ago and downloaded it from www.divx.com/freecomI want to see this one too. As far as I know, it's not a sequal at all... total different story. But it is written and made by the same people as 'Nightmare Before Christmas', so it does resemble.

Like I said, I saw a special about it on ARTE, for an hour, and I can say frankly that I don't want to see this movie. I don't like Tom Cruise and for me this film is much to aggressive. I get headaches from suchs films. I don't understand why it makes you feel down when I don't want to see this film, I didn't say it is wrong or stupid to watch it, I don't want to spend my time watching it. But like I said, I am glad you liked it and you enjoyed watching it with Andrew. Is ok, Julia... I got a bit depressed, as I am a lot lately... Nothing to do with what you posted.

Who has see it? Teppic and I went to the cinema yesterday. We were supposed to go see 'Batman Begins', but we were too late and we went for this one instead as we wanted to go see it anyways. I think it was brilliant. I really enjoyed it. It's definately worth to go see it on the big screen, as such type of films need to be seen on a big screen, if you know what I mean? The special effects where amazing! It had a very dark feel to it. Glad I saw it!!

Inés of my soul I agree with this review on amazon.com: These are fictional memoirs of Ines Suarez who was the first Spanish woman to live in Chile in the 1500s. The historical details in this book are astounding, and some of the tales are extremely bloodthirsty and brutal to read. To think that some of the events they describe actually took place is almost inconceivable. Allende has a marvellous way with words and her writing style is so easy to read.
Passionate, breathtaking and bloodthirsty, this is historical fiction at is very best.Highly recommended!
