HAHAHAHA!!!! Everytime I see this thread I got the mental image of that sculpted Lionel Ritchie head. How creepy is that thing? Thanks for the post, that made my morning.... ...although I may have nightmares about disembodied clay Lionel Ritchie tonight!

I only have one question, did you just sneak in a Lionel Ritchie reference?! ;D
Like you I have recently "returned to the fold" but it was A Piano and not Tales that did it for me.
Hi and welcome! I'm rather new as well.

Hi there, I have a ticket to the Pittsburgh show so far. The location isn't too bad, you always want to be closer though (unless you are in the front row I guess . I'm hoping to go to at least one more, but I'm having a hard time finding a good fit around work and other commitments. I might fly out to one of the weekend Midwest shows and make a bit of a vacation out of it... Too bad you couldn't get the platinum package for your show. Maybe you will get to meet Tori anyway, she isn't one to follow rules...

Thank you for the welcome messages...
And missing those shows was indeed the definition of sucky...
...but I'm not missing out this time. In exactly 9 hours I should be buying my tickets to the Pittsburgh show. Can't Wait.

Hi there, new guy here. Found your fine community after rediscovering Tori with the Piano box. I was so struck by the impact of having all the great songs on the expanded "Little Earthquakes" in one place (the rest of the box is great too, just hadn't thought about LE for ages!). I went to one of my favorite general music collector type forums because I had to share my excitement and they all thought me quite loony for getting so pumped about a repackage/remaster of songs I had known for years. I had posted on the old Dent forum years ago (long gone), and even frequented the chat room on the old official ToriAmos.com site (anyone remember that place? A bunch of us used the chatbox a year or more after they took the web link down!), but had no place in the modern day to share my Tori related joy!
My Tori CV:
-I had a brief boyhood crush on Tori years before listening to any of the music. It was the direct result of seeing the SATL video on VH1 randomly one Summer afternoon ~1992. What can I say...strangely dressed women rolling around in wooden boxes really did it for me when I was 12.
-My Tori entry point was Choirgirl, which prompted me to buy everything commonly available at the time (1998). I have let my status lapse however, and have little familiarity with anything from Beekeeper or the new disc (I've initiated the catch up process though!).
-I've never seen Tori live, but have had tickets twice. Both times, circumstances prevented me from attending. How frustrating!
-I'm a major record collector, and I have about 30 Tori releases (probably small fries here though!). While it's a lot of Tori, it represents only 2.5% of my total collection. The most expensive single CD I ever bought (any artist) was my CD-R bootleg of YKTR. I paid $35 back in 1998 (yep, I was ripped off a bit, but it got some serious play!).
-I tend to overuse exclamation points when posting! (and parentheses!)
Wow that was long...I should have just said "nice to meet you all!"
