Only 2 albums worthwile in 2011:
My Dying Bride - Evinta (2 cd's of soundscape re-workings of older material) Within Temptation - The Unforgiving
Note: I don't care much for new music these days actually.

I tried to watch the movie a while back, but quit after half and hour. It's truly a boring movie to me and one of the most overrated pics ever I guess. All the people wanted to see a great 3D-spectacle in the cinema, hence it financial succes. But to me yet again a failure from Tim Burton...

What was disturbing for you in the movie? The subject of the story?

A new "album of the year" in my list. After 10 months Marina drops 1 spot to number 2, because the posthumously released album MICHAEL by Michael Jackson is TRULY Album Of The Year. Afraid of a disappointment, Sony shows they really know what Michael Jackson should sound like.
1. Michel Jackson - MICHAEL 2. Marina & The Diamonds - The Family Jewels 3. Dimmu Borgir - Abrahadabra
4. Oasis - Time Files... 1994-2009 5. Caro Emerald - Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor

Been to Harry Potter 7a last Friday evening and I think it's the best Potter-movie to date.
Some special effect still look crap (so, on dvd or bluray it will look even more crap), but overall it's a movie which makes you want to see the second part right after the first one!
And last Saturday we watched The Social Network in our livingroom. Nice, but not so great or good as I suspected.

We Were Soldiers
The movie itself is not a really great one, but the audio is a truly 3D experience! You are really IN the movie.

Event Horizon is a classic!! Creepy, eerie sounds made by Orbital and late Michael Kamen. I'm looking for the bluray release of it.
I watched Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs on bluray yesterday. Really nice movie.

I watched The Mist on bluray yesterday. The SFX looks way better than from dvd. And I was a little 'shocked' watching The Disappearance Of Alice Creed. It's a British thriller/drama with bond-girl Gemma Arterton, who also played in movies like Clash Of The Titans and Prince Of Persia. But this movie really kicks ass when you know nothing about the story or the plot of the movie.
