I think a whole new section would be overkill - Maybe one way to do it is to have people post their links as they see fit & then maybe one of us little afterglow helpers can earn their title by copying the link (and suitable recognition ) into this post (or maybe a new one after this discussion has finished ) so that way the link doesn't disappear with time, so making it a little easier to find such stuff later Just an idea How about if we use this current Mr. Microphone section but when you click on it it would now have 2 sub sections. One being the general chat part which we are using now and the other would be a section purely for audio/video links? Within this audio/video section we could have sticky threads for PJ Harvey, Tori Amos, a general/miscellaneous thread and then threads for any other bands the moderators think deserve it? Maybe this sounds like it would be a little complicated but I think in practice it would be very easy to use. I dunno ... my 2 cents worth as they say (whoever they are)! *shrug*

This shall be the thread for posting Mp3s okay? I stole this from our dear Melankolic mimic74.free.fr/live/temp/Am listenning to dress non stop *edited the title... * Ooh guess what Bugg? I found the entire Rock en Seine concert audio recording online! I have about 2/3 downloaded now and I should have the rest soon! Be happy to share it with everyone if anyone knows a way? (I have no webspace of my own)

Naughty Bugg Well I kind of stole it myself so fair enough Actually ... that's made me think - Maybe Rasp or Teppic could create a separate thread/room on the board exclusively for posting links to audio/video of our favourite music... We could have a thread for audio/video links with sub threads for Tori, PJ and whoever else. I know there are quite a lot of links posted around the board but perhaps this would make it easier for everyone to navigate directly to a particular link that they are looking for. Sometimes the other threads and posts get lost back on the previous pages when the new threads are posted and some people miss them. Perhaps this could be added as a sub section in 'Mr. Microphone' or just as a sticky thread there? Just a suggestion - what do you think guys?

Oh I was expecting to find Bugg with a face like this ! But... since Billy is going solo things aren't so bad eh? I thought Zwan were alright from what I heard but not a patch on the Pumpkins! They should reform (Smashing Pumpkins not Zwan already! hehe) so I can see them live! I'm pissed off that I missed them before

[glow=yellow,2,300]Who Will Save Your Soul?[/glow] Not to be overly dramatic but that line kind of takes on a new meaning now... I've never particularly been a big fan of Jewel but I like a couple of songs that I have heard and I saw her sing the aforementioned on Later With Jools Holland a couple of years back. She seemed to put her heart and soul into the performance and now it appears she is just churning out some empty commercial pop. I dunno, maybe she just feels like doing some 'fun' music but it seems a shame when she has the talent to do so much more... Same thing with Liz Phair ... not sure what is going on at the moment!

Cool I have her first two albums (Trailer Park & Central Reservation) but sort of lost touch with her work since then... I saw her live once when she was at Glastonbury in I think 1998 or 1999 Very good anyway! What is Beth's latest material like? Post your concert pics up when you have them!

I'm listening to "Alien" by Lamb!!! Very cool band!!! I recommend everyone to check them out!! I got their cd "fear of fours" today, i'm hooked on it!! It was under the techno section at record exchange but they had no copies =( but at Borders they had it under the pop rock section ;D Softly is a fave from that album - funky bassline <---- probably played a bit slower than that! ;D If you can get the debut album listen to Gorecki

Thanks Sid! ;D This will be the first 'stadium' type gig I've been to in ages! Fortunately I don't have to be in those seats at the back watching pea sized Radioheads! Re: the camera shake ... just breathe deeply, relax and keep those hands still! ;D Hmm seriously, if you have manual settings try increasing the aperture and/or shutter speed when taking indoor pics. Faling that just put the auto flash on and they usually come out ok! Have a good time at Muse!

Are you standing, or do you have seats? If you're on the 4th floor you'll be able to see my office (well, the entrance at least) ;D I'm standing I pretty much refuse to go to gigs now if I have to be in seats! Hate it! Muse is the same day as Radiohead then?!

I was there too - we could've met, if i'd known! was right near the front, just to the side of where she did the crowd surfing at the end (I got to touch her hand ;D) I must admit I'm not really a huge fan of theirs, but some friends were going, so thought I'd tag along & loved it! That's funny, I had no idea you were going! Ah I got there late so was stuck out on the right hand side and didn't get to grope Roisin when she did the crowd surfing ;D Yeah Moloko are a brilliant live band. I think even those who aren't that keen on the albums would enjoy their gigs!

Moloko were brilliant! ;D Only thing to spoil my evening was that I stupidly deleted the photos I took by accident What an idiot ...Oh another thing was the public transport which made me late Still once I did get there the gig was fantastic! So much energy and enthusiasm (not to mention a fair amount of lunacy ) from the band! There were TV cameras on the stage so obviously it was being filmed for something! These recordings never seem to turn up until ages later when all the legal bullshit has passed through though! I'm hoping for a live DVD in the not too distant future ... but we'll see!

Finally booked my Ticket for Moloko on November 22nd! ;D I wasn't gonna be able to go if it was a weekday (might be pushing my luck as I've already asked to finish work early quite a few times) but I found out it's on a Saturday!
