The only way I know to digitize cassettes is to pop them in a tape deck, route the 'line out' of the deck to the 'line in' on your computer, and record it directly. You will want to set input/output levels prior to doing so, to ensure no clipping.
I do know that these days you can buy USB turntable, so perhaps there is a USB cassette deck?

^ I haven't seen a USB cassette desk! They may have one in Japan... Japan has all the answers!
Go to your electronics store and ask for a male/male audio jack. Use either a tape deck or a walkman, and yeah, like cosmic says, put the cassette one in your headphones socket and the computer one in your mic socket and then get a program like Audacity and record it from there. The quality, my friend, is going to be questionable, though. So see if the sound quality is worth your while before you record lots of it. To save disc space and your time.
