www.george.net.au/polyserena/themusic.htmThis Aussie band is brilliant! Check out some of their songs here. The two singers are brother and sister (katie and tyrone noonan) and their mother was an acomplished opera singer so taught them from a very early age. They are only just gaining the respect that they deserve in Australia. I love 'em - check them out, beautiful!

They are brilliant live - I've been watching them for about 4 years, develop & bloom.
Do yaself a favour Vox, I'd check 'em out. Good band to watch once you've thrashed yourself about all day or just come outta the mosh..

I guess it depends on what kind of set they do. As you would know they have such a variety of songs - their musical spectrum is unbelievable! A crowd can appear 'boring' if they are doing some of their more mellow songs, but it's the experience you can feel by being in their presence. Katie Noonan has thevoice of an angel! Hey - I think you'll find that SFK are not playing, it's just Paul Dempsy doing solo/acoustic (well that's for the Syd festival). I disagree with the SFK crowd being boring though - got some of my best rock'n'roll memories from their gigs, especially at festivals. Find a bunch of friends and sing ya little heart out.

I love all my SFK memories, I am just a little bit too energetic for them right now, I need some good skanking time really soon!
((for those in other countries skanking is a bizarre dance which I cannot describe))

yes there is a fine line between skank and skanking here. not many people here even know what it is...it is fun anyway...this saturday I will probably kill my need cos I should be going to a damn good gig if I can convince my parents ((my dad doesn't like the venue cos they supply alcohol at all ages gigs))
