And Teppic better be taping it! And I'm also looking forward to the Werchter festival, Evelien... it will rock!!! We need to talk about it thru PM soon, need to talk about some details!

And Teppic better be taping it! I'll be impressed if Teppic manages that...Glastonbury has about 6 main stages before you get to the masses of other stuff thats going on. They show some on BBC2 and BBC3 but you'll be lucky if Tori is covered... ...they are doing some clever satellite thing with BBC3 this year so you can pick which of the main stages you want to watch, however...

They did an interactive service from Glast'o last year too, but it was a bit rubbish. Hopefully this year they'll do things right (especially now that the BBC has had so much experience with interactive coverage of so many sporting events). I'd be surprised if they didn't show at least a small bit of Tori - if she has the gospel quire i'd be downright amazed if they didn't cover some of that (the BBC love it when an artist does something a bit different, and always seem to go out of their way to cover them). Whether Tori would be comfortable being filmed is a whole other matter... I mean it's not like she can play the same song 5 times until she's happy with it, so we'll have to hope she agrees to any coverage. I usually end up with a good 6 to 8 hours worth of footage on tape each year, and since this year i have Sky+ and a DVD/HHD-Recorder at the ready i shouldn't have the usual problems of missing things due to them being split across BBC2 and BBC3. So if she's shown i'll catch it. The only wildcard is the interactive service...

Couple of days ago I had the entertaining job of filtering through the 22 hours or so of footage i recorded from last year ;D NOTE: I've just realised Tori might be on at Glastonbury at the same time as Garbage...doh!

lol... doubt Cheapie will read this, Franklin... as he already is there... think he knows it's flooded! ;D Yeah, it's not just some rain, it's REALLY flooded, I saw footage of it yesterday. I mean, I have been to plenty of festivals myself, since I was a baby and I only experienced it once that it rained that heavely that the mud was coming till my knee... but not like there at Glastonbury where the water comes till over your knee. I keep on wondering how they'll get the piano there...

Hey, when did they install a swimming pool in front of the stages at Glastonbury? Was that Cheapies tent i just saw floating by on tv? Remember kids: if you're only interested in the music it's dryer to watch from the comfort of your home on tv.

Nothing a bit of common sense and a pair of boots can't deal with It's not as bad as it looks. The festival is huge and on a slight incline so all the water runs to the bottom so a great deal of it is fine. The top two stages and the market area get very sludgy. I expect some people were pitching tents where they shouldn't. Of course, the fact that I was staying in a local hotel helped ;D
