I love Six Feet Under very much also. Brothers and Sisters I liked ok, but cause it's just sappy, so you kind of get sucked into it, and of course I wanted to see what Rachel Griffith (that sexy bitch!) is up to these days. Same applies to Dexter, which I watched to see what Michael C. Hall was doing now. I liked it a lot as well, not that you could compare both these shows to one another at all. I feel like Hall got much more opportunity to really flourish in his acting ability - which cannot compare to his brilliant performance in Six Feet Under - and that Griffith should have gotten a role so that she could really show much more of her diverse and wonderful abilities, in comparison to what she did on Six Feet Under the character of Sarah is rather boring, even if she's playing a strong woman, which she does well and convincingly obviously. I suppose that is what makes Six Feet Under so special, everything was just in the right place and meshed with each other so well. I totally agree with you on that. Nothing beats SFU, don't think anything will ever... but 'Dexter' and 'Brothers & Sisters' for example are pretty much kinda replacements for this empty empty feeling I had ever since SFU ended.

There are many tv-series I've watched and loved in the past, but the list of essential tv-series for me is very very small: * Twin Peaks * The X-files Other shows I like and watched in the past (or still watch) are: - The 4400 - Sliders - Stargate SG-1 - Steven Spielberg's Taken!! - Invasion - Xena - Doogie Howser MD - Nowhere Man - BH 90210 - Melrose Place - Full House - Happy Days - Transformers - He-Man - The A-Team - MacGuyver - The Wonder Years - Heartbreak High - Fresh Prince Of Bel Air - Miami Vice - Baywatch - Knight Rider - The Girl From Tomorrow - Airwolf - ALF - Las Vegas - Tour Of Duty - Farscape - Earth 2! - Dawson's Creek - Roswell - Doctor Who - Cosby Show - CSI and rip-off's - V - Buck Rogers - Bassie en Adriaan etc. And there is a show from mid 90's about human beings with 1,4% better DNA than we have, which make them some kind of super humans. But I can't remember the name of that show And I love to see Alias. I only have seen the pilot on dvd last year.

I am totally addicted to this show too...after all these years I can still drag out my overwatched DVDs and never get bored of them. I was reading news about the movie the other day...I hope all of this talk really leads to it being made. DD was saying it might be a 2008 summer release - that would rock!

Yeah, Mulder and Scully are so cool!! I loved the episodes about the conspiracy theories but also liked the episodes that had a story on their own. I am glad that they will both join the movie. Awfull idea mulder and scully played by other actors.

How much I'm a big big fan of The X-files (owning all 9 seasons on dvd + movie dvd + books and trading cards etc.), I don't think it's a good idea of making a second movie. The show is over (it even ran way too long IMO). It's like making a couple of new Twin Peaks episodes the way David Lynch wanted to end the story (and not the way the tv-station wanted it 17 years ago).

Yeah it did run too long, they should have ended it at the end of season seven, eight and nine are terrible, plus I still don't get the whole alienmiraclebaby thing But I hope they do make a new movie, it could be really good if they do it right.

I just rewatched the finale the other day, I don't really know why I put myself through it...if they do do another movie, I hope they somehow get Mulder and Scully reinstated in the FBI, them not being in the FBI exploring the paranormal is like having tea without sugar - it's just not right!

My all-time favorite TV show has to be Seinfeld. I watch re-runs often even though I've seen every episode- and I still laugh out loud. I also like Desperate Housewives. I loved the Twin Peaks series also.

I've come to realize over the past few days that my all-time favorite TV show is Buffy. It has everything I like in television. Clever writing, supernatural events, great character development, and lots of humor.
