I was just thinking about in Family Guy when it is bitching hot, and Stewie asks is it Chris? what megs name is and then Stewie goes "Meg you vile smelling girl, your not to touch any of my things, you hear me, dirty dirty girl", or something to that effect.
Oh Lord, and here comes Summer!!! I hate summer, I hate being a vile smelling girl!

^Aww honey. I hate summer too! I don't smell, but I sweat puddles! Maybe move into a shopping centre, or a hospital? You only have a 1 in 10 chance of dying.

haha, oh yeah gotta love our hospitals!
The worst is I work an hr from where I live and its generally 2-3 deg hotter out where I work. They can really forget about me working when its like 40c.
Today was an episode of family guy where Meg claims she is a lesbian. I havent seen this episode and didnt get a chance to watch it on fox 2 cause I was busy.

Yup, the adult swim seasons are really short so they pretty much run each episode at least twice on the Sunday slot (although they have a ton of different shows now, so maybe that changed). I think I have seen the bizzaro episode of Sealab about 10 times at this point (although that is an absolute classic, and I think Sealab is completely off the schedule now, but thankfully there are DVDs!). Saturday used to be all Anime, which I don't care for, but I don't know if that is still the case. I'm rarely watching TV at those times. I guess my criticism is very nitpickey. That is the fundamental conundrum of the spoof right? How much time do you spend staying on target with the source material and how much time is spent on the actual comedy. The couch was the best part for me as well, and also was the biggest left turn plot-wise. Yes I'm spending way too much time analyzing a cartoon. I'm only a couple years removed from giving up on my dream job as a screenwriter, and I have a bad habit of analyzing movies/TV shows instead of...you know...enjoying them. I hear ya. I'm the same with horror movies and certain comedies. I dont tend to expect too much, but sometimes, its like, I can't help but do this Also, they showed a rerun of the "Poltergeist" episode and made me wonder what you thought of that? I thought it was great. Poltergeist is one of my all time fave horror movies I mean, the thing with Carrot Top and the other end of the portal being through Meg's ass

I haven't seen it in since they first ran it. I need to dig up that DVD right away!

Family Guy is already one of my favorite TV shows ever. I have to get the new episodes. And concerning the VS... I don't even like American Dad much

The old Simpsons, yes. The Simpsons as of late? No way in hell. The old perverted guy doesnt really bother me. I find him quite funny actually. His voice is just perfect for that character. But as they say, different strokes....

BUT! I didnt find it funny when Stewie beat the literal crap out of Brian in that one episode. Not at all. It went on too long IMO. That has been my only dislike of the show.. That one episode.

I've only watched 'American Dad' once, wasn't so impressed... so 'Family Guy' for sure. Lately, I've watched a lot of 'Family Guy' and the jokes are sometimes really harsh and cruel in a sick way and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVES it. I'm starting to like 'Family Guy' more then 'The Simpsons'.
