DOLLHOUSE
The first episode was a little iffy... but the second one was awesome and has gotten me even more excited for the show.

Dr. Who...it's the only tv show on nowdays that I actually watch. Sadly it's not actually on at the moment so my tv watching is now at zero but an Easter (I think) special is due so I'm excited for that!

DOLLHOUSE The first episode was a little iffy... but the second one was awesome and has gotten me even more excited for the show. I don't absolutely love it yet but it's Joss Whedon, so I'll give it a change. After all, even Buffy only really became good in the second season.

I started watching True Blood. I'm not really big fan of sci-fi things and vampires and all that. I just watch it so I can drool over Alexander Skarsgard and Stephen Moyer ;D

I'm sorry for not having the strength to read all the 12 pages right now... but has someone mentioned "Damages"? That was really something new and intriguing imo. We've only gotten the first series here, I'm hoping for them airing the second as well.. and is there more of it? Don't even know. Glenn Close is a hell of an actress, one of my all time favourites!

Ah, Angel. I've been wanting to watch it for a while now. I'm currently watching X-Files box set, 9 seasons, it's taking a while, but maybe after that I'll watch some Angel. (Fred+Wes )

watching xfiles now too I stopped watching them after mulder left the show, but I was a dedicated fan up until then. I've been watching S2-S6 front to back, and just recently bought S1 which I'm plowing through right now. strong first season... Scully's suits were so flashy!

I'm surprised how well the show still works for me after all these years! Yeah, it wasn't the same after Mulder left but I don't think the last two seasons are that bad actually. I think Doggett and Reyes are perfectly good characters and there are some strong episodes.
Anyway, I just finished season 3 last night. One of my favorite episodes in that season is Quagmire. I especially love the part where Mulder and Scully's boat sinks and they are stranded on a rock only to realize they are just a few meters off the shore. ;D

I'd forgotten about the episode Humbug. now THAT is comic genious. When Dr. Blockhead is talking to scully at the end about what the future would look like without freaks, and he points at mulder who's standing in the most ridiculous pose ever as the wind gently tousles his jacket. great show. im tempted to buy the later seasons... now that you say they were pretty good i might have to.

Probably my favorite exchange from Quagmire: Scully: You're so consumed by your personal vengeance against life, whether it be its inherent cruelties or its mysteries, that everything takes on a warped significance to fit your megalomaniacal cosmology. Mulder: Scully, are you coming on to me? i re-watched season 2 a while ago. Yeah, Humbug is great. I love all the comedy episodes. You should buy the later seasons! But I should warn you, I'm definitely in a minority as far as my opinion about their quality is concerned. I think most fans hate them. At least buy season 7, Mulder's still in that one.

I love the X-Files too...I have all the seasons on dvd & agree that the early seasons are the best ones overall. Certainly 1-6 are my favourites, 7 & 8 are good to excellent in places but have some not so good episodes mixed in amongst the good ones. Season 9 is where I lost interest really, the lack of Scully-Mulder interaction really kills it for me but there are still a few good episodes in that season.
