Its one of the oldest songs Nick Cave has published. The original version of the song was recorded in 1979 (I think) by The Boys Next Door, one of the bands Nick Cave put together in his high school/college days. So far I've only heard three versions - the original, one done by Rowland S Howard in a live studio performance I taped in '99 - and the God-Awful cover done by the screaming jets where they even get the lyrics wrong - I havnt heard the version with Inbal & its the first time I've heard about it . It was Rowland also who wrote the lyrics to Shivers. (*goes off to at the news of Blixa leaving the Bad Seeds*)
