not really. i like a few local acts here but thats about it. i'm more into songs. i really love the haunting slow scottish stuff (if you're interested in that, check out Mist Covered Mountains. soooooo beautiful) and the rippin' fast jigs and reels. hmm...methinks its time to dust off the piano and play some stuff

O I adore Irish music! It's my heritage. And Like Tori has explored her roots in Scarlet I am doing the same by listening to U2, and my fav, Sinead O'Connor! She did a cd of all traditional Irish songs. And my god it was so beautiful I so admire her strength and beauty, and her voice, ahhh, wow!

in my gothic days i was very much into this band: www.capercaillie.co.uk/i still like some songs, they sing most of their stuff in gaelic and very old languages, it is fascinating. but of course i don't understand a single word i always wanted to learn bretonic, but is is sooo fecking hard. i think one of the most difficult languages in the world. it sounds like barking

I thought that was the one dedicated to Ireland, but I didn't know about the traditional Irish songs... I really love her music though! I've got two albums, and I just love the diversity, how she... I dunno... goes from one sound to a totally different one, and the strenght... She's one of those ppl I really admire you know...
