You can watch the Glósóli video here, which I think is interesting (like most sigur rós vids). I actually haven't got round to buying the CD yet, which is a bit astounding as they're one of my favourites.

I lost my interests in Sigur Ros after the disappointed album ( ). But the album before that (the blue package with the embryo on top) is still shivering

I'm quite the opposite. I like the ( ) album to be the best. the first one on ( ) is somewhat shivering. is it true that they have developed their own language?

I lost my interests in Sigur Ros after the disappointed album ( ). What? how could you not like that album - it's one of my favorites - although it is a bit darker than some of their other albums. I liked it a lot. hmm... to each his own i guess...

Personally I think ágætis byrjun is one of the best albums ever - I quite like () too though. is it true that they have developed their own language? No...notably () doesn't have any lyrics - Jonsi is not singing actual words. The stories about them making up their own language come from the fact the band call this technique 'singing hopelandish' (the title track from their first album von - 'hope' in icelandic - was the first track they did that on).

Everything i've heard from the new album has sounded great. In fact i can't think of anything they've done which i haven't loved. It's on my "To Buy" list, along with too many albums which have come out, or are coming out this year (is it just me or has this year been a bit mental, with loads of good bands releasing albums all at once? - for each album i buy, i seem to end up adding another two or three! ).

Thank you for the information. Again the first one on ( ) is the thing for me when talking about Sigur. it's on my top10 list of the most beautiful songs ever done. Oh, and Teppic that's true! I have like zillion pages of band names and records to buy. frustrating. really. too much good music. Reason for Editting: yaiks.
