Kept hearing about her from the Aussies on the Sia forum so ended up downloading this random radio session she did for TripleJ radio station and found I really, really like it! Just wondered if anyone else likes her here or has even heard of her? Maybe Leewah will know? This is her official site www.sarahblasko.com. Apparently, she is support for Tom McRae for his upcoming tour so I was thinking of going but the London date (Oct 1st) is sold out

Yes I have heard of her - her debut album 'The Overture & The Underscore' has received critical acclaim here in Oz. She's really quite delicate, both sonically & physically. I don't actually have her album but have heard a lot of songs on Triple J radio. You can listen to tracks at this link: www.sarahblasko.com/index.php?page=musicThe album is a little polished but after seeing her live she can really light up the room!

Glad to see I'm not the only one who likes the Blasko girl I'd heard about her for a while but as with a lot of artists I mean to check out, I always take ages actually organising myself to actively listen I still haven't got either of her CDs but I'm bidding for 'The Overture & The Underscore' on eBay so hopefully I'll nab a bargain soon! Maja, I knew I could rely on you

Would you believe that he's actually just released a solo album.... I think as a singer Russell makes a great actor ;D

In happier news, I've just won a brand new copy of ''The Overture & The Underscore' on eBay for 2 quid (!)

I forgot to say... I listened to her last weekend and I don't feel her. Her voice reminds me of 'Sarah Slean', which is a good thing. But the songs I heard, didn't speak to me... if you know what I mean?

But the songs I heard, didn't speak to me... if you know what I mean? Fair enough Raspy We all have different tastes with certain music. I don't know how representative those samples on her site are but I think her album is worth a spin or two at least. I dunno, I had heard one of her songs ages ago ('Don't U Eva' ... not a fan of the text like spelling but 'whatever' ) and I liked it but nothing more. Then recently I was playing a few of her songs in the background and also heard that radio session and enjoyed her much more. So we still have to find you a 'Sarah' then? ;D
