I hope everybody's prepared, I'm sure tickets for the British gigs are going to be gone in a flash.

WHAT THE FUCK? That's such bullshit. I'm sure they'll add a second date tho... Brussels is a go, but Manchester is still an uncertainty. We prolly wouldn't make it on time. This day keeps on getting better by the minute.

What a load of fucking BULLSHIT! I'm so mad it's not even worth a smilie because there isn't one made in the whole fucking world which would do things justice. So tickets go on sale Friday the 17th do they? Thankyou official Damien Rice mailing list for this oh so fucking useful info. Thankyou Ticketmaster, (who own the bloody Manchester Apollo themselves) whose own website won't let you book because the tickets "don't go on sale until 9am tomorrow". Except, everywhere else seems to have been allowed to sell the tickets today...! I've gone through multiple numbers trying to get tickets. The first said they couldn't sell seated tickets and downstairs will be standing (obviously standing isn't really a good option for me, the only time i make an exception is when it's Oasis - and that's only because everyone in the seated areas always stands up anyway at Oasis gigs, and i still only go for seated areas anyway in that situation). They eventually give the number to deal with the Apollo direct. I always used to do that anyway as i'd often get better help choosing specific seats rather than just being assigned one randomly, so that's fine by me. Except it turns out that Ticketmaster no longer allow you to buy tickets direct from the venue any longer, and i'm told to call the national number instead. Call the official Ticketmaster phone number and the woman on the other end tries to enter the order into their computer system, and... "Oh i'm sorry, but the tickets don't go on sale until tomorrow morning at 9am." It's explained to her that tickets are being sold already, and her answer is that there's nothing she can do as the computer system won't accept any order until after 9am in the morning. Fucking wonderful. I've taken a look around a couple of online ticket agents... 'All tickets for Damien Rice, Manchester Apollo, 30th March - SOLD OUT!' FUCK. YOU. TICKETBASTARDS! I have one hope remaining, and that's the fact that nowhere seems to be selling 'seating' - everywhere lists everything as 'standing'. Hopefully that means that only the downstairs tickets have been put on sale today, and so there's still a chance of getting decent tickets when Ticketmaster's computers finally decide to allow orders to go through at 9am tomorrow. If not then there's going to be hell to pay, i swear... Hell, even if i do manage to get tickets tomorrow, i'm still royally pissed off. If the on sale info says "9am, Friday the 17th of November" then that's exactly when they should go on fucking sale! Sometimes it feels like the world is run by nothing but a bunch of chavs and scallies out to make some quick cash. Bunch of retarded fuckwits!

the unofficial damien website (eskimo friends) had today's date (the 16th) up as the presale date for the british shows, with a link to the website i linked to, so it's very well possible that there are way more tickets left. Like the Tori presales (i don't know if that was just a US thing or not) - those tickets are all sold SO very quickly, but more than half of the tix don't go on sale until the official release date.

This sucks arse. There are seats left on that presale link (thanks Jill, btw) for the circle, which at Hammersmith is miiiiles away. Ticketmaster ( LINK ) have just added it & Manchester to their list, to go on sale at 9am. Something heinous will occur if I don't get a decent ticket.

^ Well, Andrew and myself got us tickets to the Manchester gig! Not the best tix in the world, but hey... we're going to see this amazing guy together. I simply can NOT wait. I also got tix to the Brussels concert, but they are unnumbered so dunno how it will go... will see. Never been to that concert hall, so I don't know how it is like.

I take it you're sitting Rasp/Teppic. I assume it's standing downstairs and sitting upstairs. I may be wrong.

Yes, we're sitting upstairs... I can't find the plan right now, but it's on the side, not in the back balcony. Andrew can explain it better. lol.
