My iTunes top 25 most played list always amazes and frustrates me... sometimes actually pisses me off. I had a wonderful surprise this morning when I realised that I actually listen to these songs! Entertain me people! What does your list look like? Is it representative of what you are actually listening to?

Well since I don't use Itunes (Apple is the Devil!, the Devil I tell ya!), I will give my last.fm stats: Last.fm does not track anything I listen to in my car or portables, which is well over half of what I play. I've notice that it really picks up on my "song obsessions," those tracks that I keep hammering on repeat at work and whatnot. I think it very accurately captures a certain portion of my listening habits but not all. I listen to a lot of jazz in the car, and none of that is here. You will also note that there are no songs by our Tori on that list. But, when you look at my top artists list you see: This is more a testament to the depth of her catalog (and how many times I've played A Piano in its entirety). Kelli: glad to see one of my all time favs in the #2 position on your list.

I made it top 30 bc I wanted at least SOME Tori to show up in there: (the reason she doesn't show up is bc I tend to obsess over certain songs for a little while and listen to them like a FREAK, over and over again - while T has SO many songs I'll listen to but not 56 times in a row )

My top 25 is reallllly screwed up. I only listen to like 3 songs on it now. I only got into Tori Amos recently, (well, beginning of the Summer) and that isn't enough time to listen to her songs 84+ times each.

My top 25s are all screwed up from computers dying and resets, a long break from music, and the fact that I listen to maybe 6 songs over and over and over again for a long time then mix it up by playing Party Shuffle. I guess the iTunes reflects what are my current favs and the last.fm reflects what were my favs since the start of the year with only a few current favs creeping in. My iTunes top 25 songs: My last.fm top 25 songs: My last.fm top 25 artists: Yeah, I'm really bored today.

I've done my iPod's top 25 cos I rarely actually keep any music on my computer...I'm always paranoid some virus is going to sweep in & delete all my music so I keep making cds & hard copies of everything & then delete it off the machine. Thus my iTunes top 25 would be more like a top 3 as that's about how many songs are on my computer right now Also as a result of this my top 25 isn't quite accurate for all my music taste as I listen to a lot of music that isn't on my iPod yet... Anyway... My iPod top 25 (lots of Tori ...and a Britney song ) And my Last.fm overall artists (Tori once again reigns supreme over all the other artists ) Annnnd my last.fm top songs though there's not much point as it's predominantly Tori again ;D Though my charts seem to show I only really listen to Tori on repeat...I do honestly listen to quite a lot of other artists too, they just don't quite make it to play-on-constant-repeat phase ;D
