Do we still have some Cat Power fans here? *hopes so*
and I also hope Raspy doesn't mind that I start another Cat Power thread here. I know we already have the "we love Cat Power"-thread in the "Soul Trading" section, but as this is not really about sharing - well, it is, but only news, not files - I thought we could have another thread here in the general music section
(@ Raspy: if you think that's too much, feel free to merge threads or delete mine
ok, enough disclaimer-ish talking here's the news:

info & piccie from the matador blog ( www.matadorrecords.com/matablog/?p=925#comments )
oh, and on the matador forum they said there's gonna be a deluxe version too
seems is not a full cover album though, as Song To Bobby is by Chan herself and also an older song of her (Metal Heart) is included (wonders if she will re-record it )
I also must admit that I haven't heard most of the originals but i LOVED her last cover album so I'm sure I will at least like this one too
and I'm not too enthusiastic about the cover pic they've chosen. looks abit too "simple" and I generally don't like that style too much...
but then again I thought at first the cover of "The Greatest" was awful, but now I think it's quite nice (at least in the shiny digipack version)
