I could be mistaken, but I didnt see a thread for it . . .
I wasn't particularly a Sia fan before. I enjoyed the song "Breathe Me" and had put her Colour the Small One record on my ipod. Rarely listening to it, however.
But, on a whim, and due to my addiction of HAVING to buy a new CD everytime I step foot into a Newbury Comics, [and for lack of having anything else to buy at the time,] I bought Some People have Real Problems.
And I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised. I know it hasn't gotten particularly flattering reviews, but I think it's really good. Though, I must admit that the best song isnt even on the album itself (that song being Buttons, which I got on Itunes)
I think she has a wonderful personality, and when it comes through on her songs, it's the BEST! So when she's not being drippy and sad (as she was on Colour) it's magical.
My highlights are: 1.Buttons 2.Day Too Soon 3.I Go To Sleep 4.Playground 5.Soon We'll Be Found 6.Electric Bird 7.Beautiful Calm Driving
What does everyone else think?

i haven't picked it up yet (honestly, i didn't know it was out. HA.) i've heard I Go To Sleep on her Lady Croissant live album and love it, so i'll probably pick it up for that reason alone.

I was surprised, too, by this album, and I have found myself listening to it repeatedly. Much better than her previous albums, and I'm a huge fan of Breathe Me. I highly recommend it!
