This may have been asked before, but i checked a few pages back and didnt find anything recent...
i was wondering, out of all the shows you've watched and that have come and gone, which ones had the best finales? the best send-off before they went off the air perminantly.
mine would be:
Angel: That one sucked every tear right out of my body. granted, its not hard to make me cry, but this one was killer. It ended abruptly, which was unfortunate, and everyone complained about how unfair it was, but I loved it and all the episodes building up to it. It was a bummer it had to end, though, cuz it was just starting to get good again.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: I am a die-hard fan of this show. For 7 years its characters were like family to me, which might sound sad, but it's true. I dont think there's ever been another show quite like it. I thought the epic battle was great, and the whole idea of every potential slayer suddenly recieving their power was pretty clever.
though I hafta say that the ending of season 5 where she dies was a much better finale for me. Once again, I cried and cried... it was just beautiful.
Roseanne: The last few seasons had lost their charm, and the show had kind of gone mad. But the last episode was a real step back in time... and it seemed like it was an apology for all the things that had gone on on the show that didnt fit, like Dan having an affair and the connors suddenly hitting it rich. I thought it was a great compensation for everything that had happened, not to mention it was a real-tear jerker for me. I love anything that can make me cry, and this episode really did it for me.
what about you?
