The new album is the first Joanna Newsom record that I've bought and I've totally fallen in love! It's so relaxing and beautiful, I just wish I could afford to go and see her in London!

Lucy - you MUST go see her! I have been waiting nearly 6 years and I have been assured by friends who have seen her live that it was worth the wait. Apparently she will blow me away. Sounds amazing! I think I'll have to wait until next time though she's only going to London and it's a bit of a pain to get there and sort out accom, plus I'm skint at the mo! I will definitely see her in the future though!

I'd recommend any of her live tracks, she's fantastic live. I don't know if it will be the same on US iTunes, but I bought a fantastic Live EP on the UK version. My fave album is Fur and Gold, but Two Suns is also fantastic. My fave tracks are probably Daniel, Horse and I, Trophy, Sad Eyes, Moon and Moon, Siren Song and Pearl's Dream. It's all amazing though!

Signed! Charlotte, one of my best friends is called Lucy. I've spent 10 years writing cards "To Lucy, Love Lucy". We both still think it's funny after all these years!!

That's really cool, I much prefer her stripped back without all those distractions! She really is very talented, much more than I ever thought she was. Not sure about her new song , but the video is weirdly wonderful!

Thanks Jessie yay! Love the track, the beginning really reminds me of Goldfrapp. I caved in and bought the digital download of Piano Trees, it's a cheaper option than importing the cd from the US! It's gorgeous though, well worth the money. I didn't think I could enjoy an album of pure instrumentals. I'm in love with Pulse and Then Don't. I would love Tori to do something like this.

I finally saw "Up" last night and completely loved it! It broke my heart and made me cry with laughter at the same time! The little boy and Doug the dog had me laughing uncontrollably in the cinema! Lovely story, I want to watch it again.

Charlotte - I think you're right, it's all tactical. There is also something strangely attractive about Simon! Even though his haircut makes him look like a gorilla!
Marti - I really liked Lucie, her voice was very good. Based on her final song she should have sailed through to the next show! The twins are funny, but they need to go!
