Flowing Tears - Jade (2000) I only have their follow up cd Serpentine, so I d/l-ed the rest of their albums last week, which I'm listening to right now. Very nice and warm rockmusic with a female singer with a bit dark voice. Lovely

That was sooo Bollywood, that musical dance in the park That weekend I watched Burn After Reading (it has some really great scenes! Watch Brad Pitt!!) and All The Boys Love Mandy Lane. Pretty boring and far far far from original.

Oh...and am a sucker voor "Boer zoekt vrouw" OMG!! they should put you in the Pieter Baan Centrum. They must find out what's wrong with you At the moment we are addicted to The Wire (avg. 9.7 at IMDb.com). A drugs/police series situated in Baltimore, Maryland (where Tori Amos used to live!!!). Great great great. No overacting or stuff like that, but it's almost like a reallife drama. A total of 5 seasons of 12 episodes of 1 full hour each. We almost finished season 4. After Season 5 we will watch season 4 of Dexter

This year was a really good year in new releases, compared to other years. Usually there are 5 or 6 interesting new albums, but this year is different. I try to put them in order of release: Lady Gaga - The Fame (originally from 2008, but a re-release this year) U2 - No Line On The Horizon The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die (although not as great as the first 3 albums) My Dying Bride - For Lies I Sire Pet Shop Boys - Yes Etc. Tori - Abnormally Attracted To Sin Epica - The Classical Conspiracy (Live double album) Pearl Jam - Backspacer Epica - Design Your Universe Rammstein - Liebe Ist Für Alle Da (incl. bonus cd!) Robbie Williams - Reality Killed The Video Star Addition: Dolores O'Riordan (great great 2nd solo album!) Lily Allen - It's Not Me, It's You Tori's Midwinter Graces album is just butt. Really really don't like it. Didn't bought it (but who did? ;-) ).

Män Som Hatar Kvinnor (Men Who Hate Women - Millennium trilogy part 1) (Extended cut): Best movie in a long long time!!!! are you kidding?? have you read the book? this movie is terrible. they simplified the story to the extreme, was just ugly and boring. Haven't read the books, but my fiancée did (borrowed the books from her father), and she love the movie as well. But Mina, I think you really loved the LOTR-trilogy didn't you? The theatrical versions as well as the extended editions? The story in the books is way longer than the movies, so it's not fair to compare them. It's 2 different kind of mediums. What works in a book, doen't always work for a movie. And vice versa. I really think the movie Men Who Hate Women is a great great 3-hour movie. A kind of a German Krimi. And last weekend we watched the dvd Inglourious Basterds. Didn't know what to expect of the latest QT-movie. Didn't expect to be half German-spoken that's for sure! It's not gross or rude, it's not arty, it's... I don't know. Is it even Tarentino? I really liked the movie (my fiancee even recognized Mike Myers!!), but did it really had to be this long? It's def way better than Kill Bill 2, but I miss some catchy, memorable one-liners.

Shrek 1-3 at Xmas last week. Still great. Up (last monday): not a movie for really young people, more for (young) adults. Liked it. The Hangover: Boooooring. War Inc. Pretty cool and enjoyable. Kung Fu Panda: Waaaaay better than expected. Män Som Hatar Kvinnor (Men Who Hate Women - Millennium trilogy part 1) (Extended cut): Best movie in a long long time!!!!

Tori Amos - Snow Angel
The only good song from Midwinter Graces. The only song that could be on a regular Tori album.

And there was an applause at the end of the movie. I had to cry 3 or 4 times during the movie. Can't wait for the dvd release.
