Not really a question about the forum but this is driving me crackers!
For the last few days I can't seem to get much sense out of media fire when downloading. I click on the link to download and keep getting page can't be displayed. But it's random - now and again I do get the download. This has been happening for the last few days.
I've tried different user accounts in case it was a bandwidth problem for that particular person (even though it's supposed to be unlimited) but it dosen't seem to be. I'm guessing that the problems at mediafire's end but I'm curious if anyone else was having problems?

Thanks for answering. I'm glad it's not just me. It's very frustrating though when there are a couple of shows I want but can't get!

It's down completely now. I'm hoping that means that the problem's being looked into at their end. Hey I'm an optimist!

Its nice to be an optimist I have been having problems the past 4-5 days or so with them as well. Hopefully them being down means that things will be fixed up quickly. I have been loving mediafire, quick & long term uploads ;D

I'm wondering if it's because I'm outside the US. OK I'm straw grasping!
The trouble with sendspace and sendit is that they expire and after going to the trouble and time (because it takes ages) of uploading it pisses me off that they're gone after a week.
I'll ponder about this some more.

I actually tried that before mediafire but I couldn't get any sense out of it. I might try again though.

Emma, I have been having issues with mediafire recently as well. Right now, it is that I will click a link and it acts as if it will download for me, but times out before it ever does anything. It doesn't do that for every link, but it has been comming up regularly. I know what you mean about not watning the links to expire when you go through the effort to upload. I've never tried divshare for uploading. How about Megaupload? They keep the files for a month after the last time the file was downloaded, so sometimes they last quite a long time. Also, there is www.4shared.com/ . I haven't used them, but I have downloaded from there. Looks like they won't delete your files as long as you log in at least every 30 days. And they give you 1 GB of files to have on your own page. Looks pretty good actually.
