So I miss the old PJ Harvey Board. Yeah well, things change I guess. But I think we damn well better have a PJ Harvey thread around here. Polla Jeen rocks my socks...what say you?

Yes, finally. Hopefully I like it better this time. I mean, I liked Uh Huh Her and white Chalk, but both did not blow me away like the older stuff did.

Wheee FANTASTIC! A new PJ and Tori album next year! And I agree with Jules, I really was dissapointed by Uh Huh Her... But learned to appreciate White Chalk, but doubt we'll ever be best friends. Anyhooters this is funny, 'cos today I finally bought Peej's dvd 'Please Leave Quietly'! Gonna watch it in a sec! ;D

I'm juiced!! Have had Dance Hall at Louise Point on most of the day to celebrate. The last collaboration was a wonderful oddity for PJ, and it's exciting that they are doing it again! White Chalk believe it or not has become my favorite PJ era. I loved everything about it, from the spooky minimalism of the live arrangements to those crazy Victorian shoulder-pads. It's officially over now I guess, I wish I had seen that tour ...but so much to look forward to come March!

Ya know, I take my words back from EVERYTHING I've ever said about 'White Chalk', that album is like telling my life right now, it's scary how much I have in common with the music and lyrics. I was bummed to miss out on tix to see PJ in Brussels, it was sold out when I tried to get tix, HOWEVER, Steve has an extra ticket for the London gig and I'm gonna do my bestest best to be there!
