Want to say hello to everyone, and ask one question, I have just started to collect boots and becoming very passionate about them, It's just in every site I've visited there is a strong rule of no selling of boots and no uploading or downloading commercial material like official Cd's and DVDs. Well my question is why are there people selling booted material on eBay. And isn't iTunes sessions copyrighted. In order to get them (the 4 songs done via itunes) you have to buy them?

Hi! Welcome home! Have a seat and some raspberry tea with us! Well, about the 'selling boots'. There's an unwritten rule about not selling them, simply 'cos the people who tape this do this to share with other people. If you start to sell these boots, these people have taped, then there's obviously lack of respect. I only am involved in the Tori Bootleg World, but if you want to get hold of bootlegs, then ask to trade with people. Or some sites, forums, ect actually do share boots, so you can download them. Including here. As for not sharing commercial stuff. If you do share commercial stuff, your site or your forum can get in serious problems due to copywriting. Of course now and again some albums, singles, ect leak out and you can download it, but we tend to not keep it up for long. As we wanna keep the place. People who sell bootlegs on Ebay suck in my opinion, not only do they 'steal' the tapers energy and hard work, most of them try to scam people with non excisting setlists, 'official' dvd's, ect. The best place for bootlegs are trading places, and these are forums. (yessaid.com, turbidblue.com) ITunes is copywrited, was an official release. If you want to get hold on it, buy it... tho you can get it here or there, if you ask people nicely.
