This is mostly for Franklin. Saw your sig, haven't really spoke to any who loves Mike and Tori. He is my IDOL! Which is strange as they both couldn't be more different! Hope you've been collecting Visionary! I saw him in person last year!!!!!!!!! BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!! It was leaked somewhere that he was in London so on Friday night I found out he was staying at the Dorchester hotel, so travelled over there via coach at 6am the next morning, needless to say, hundreds of fans and press had gathered by then. Me and some other smart fans went round the side entrance, rightly predicting he'd try and slip out quietly that way, he stood there for about 2 minutes to sign stuff and mgggggggggg, i was so close, I could nearly touch him!! Saw him 3 times throughout the day and almost fainted each time, hehe! Just thought i'd share that little story with you :-P New album @ end of 2007, the king is back!!!!

Wow, I really can imagine how you were feeling that day!
I'm always following the latest news about MJ, but I don't expect anything anymore musically. Last September he planned to record a sort of USA For Africa song to collect money for the Katrina victims. It should be out in 2 weeks back then, but still we haven't heard a single note. All we hear is artists who wants to participate in the song and have to sing their lines. Almost the same as with "What More Can I Give". I have the liverecording of that song, which is amazing, but too bad not a commercial release (thanks to Sony).
And yes, I'm still collecting the Visionary singles. This weeks release is Earth Song. I will by it alongside They Don't Care About Us, the next single. After that there are only 2 more singles to collect (Stranger In Moskow and Blood On The Dancefloor).
I love this project (even it's expensive and not always what I expect) but some things I would have done differently. I should have add a full colour booklet in the Visionary box with the lyrics of all the songs and the original cover sleeves and stuff like that. And some anacdotes. And ofcourse some other singles to replace some others (Say Say Say has a great video, Give In To Me, Scream and History/Ghosts) and the longest videoversions that are available.
BTW, I have 2 Visionary boxes. One of them still is plastic. Maybe I can sell it in the future. Did you know that when you place all the innersleeves next to each other (4 X 5) you will get a big image of Michael?

I was a much bigger fan of his back in the day... you know, "Off the Wall" and "Thriller". I'ts always so surreal when you meet someone who's art has been a huge part of your life. I'm happy for you that you got to experience that. I never got to meet the "other artist" in my life (besides Tori), Kurt Cobain, although I saw them in concert twice. And believe me, those were religious experiences. I don't think it's SO weird that you love both Tori and MJ. Besides Tori and Nirvana, I listen to everything from Johnny Cash to Slayer. I say, if something touches you, why knock it?

I say, if something touches you, why knock it? I'm being a good boy. Don't worry. Just thought you'd like to know that the stress of holding back the jokes is causing my eye to twitch uncontrolably...

Hey Karl, I know he has a new record deal. The charity single to raise money for the Katrina-victims was supposed to be released on that label (2 Seas Records). But their were also 'official' statements about new collaborations and a new single soon to be releases, and these have been debunked the other day. Remember "Invincible"? The releasedate for that album kept on being postponed several times, so that in the end it was a rather outdated album and also by far the most expensive album to record. Don't get me wrong, it's very good news Michael is planning to make a new album ás long as it will be a sort of Dangerous or HIStory-album, and not a Invincible kind of album. He should rule again musically and everyone should love him (his music) again, and it only will happen with the best music and the best record company that isn't afraid to promote Michael and his new music. I get my most recent MJ news through www.mjni.com and their newsletters btw

I actually think Invincible is quite underrated, yeah they're are a few dodgy tracks on it. But I think it featured some his best work. 'Whatever Happens' wit Carlos Santana is amaaazing, as is 'Butterflies' his vocal range is soooooo wide still despite his age. I love 'Unbreakable' and 'Heaven Can Wait' too!

I always loved the song ,....Man in the Mirror. I'm not the biggest Michael fan. Pop wise my heart belongs to Madonna, but I can say this.....HE CAN MOVE!!!!!! I think Michael has great Talent., always did. I think it's just going to be really hard trying to revive his career after all this turmoil. But if anybody an do it it's him!!!!!
