This one is one of the most beautiful videos I've ever seen (it's right up there with Hey Jupiter and Bjork's All is Full of Love). Like John said, all of Sigur Ros's videos are amazing, but this one is by far my favorite. You can find their first three videos (all the ones before Takk..., in other words) on the DVD that comes with the single for the first song from (), which you can find on Amazon. I think they have it listed as Sigur1/Sigur9, or some strange grouping of words like that, and it has a picture of someone wearing a gas mask on the cover.

I've never listened to much Robbie Williams, but I was in awe of the video he did where he is at the center of a roller skating rink and he strips down every article of clothing and then his skin and muscles. That was him who did that video, right? Totally surreal.

Yep, Jonsi's blind in one eye. And he's gay, hooray! Sure, I know it's simply not possible that I would ever have a relationship with him, but hey, at least I have even more of a connection to the music because of it .

Oh, I would be extremely jealous, if I were that type of person, but instead, I am overjoyed for you! Sigur Ros came within a four-hour-drive radius of me, but the show was sold out by the time I heard about it. Otherwise, I DEFINITELY would have gone. Sigur Ros has created some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard, and they are probably my favorite band (note: I used the word "band", which technically does not count solo artists- no one could ever come before Tori in my opinion ). Oh yeah, and the lead singer's name is Jonsi , who does have an UNBELIEVABLE voice (how he sings that falsetto is beyond me!) and is utterly adorable!

[glow=red,2,300]The Triumph of a Heart [/glow] by Bjork!
If you folks haven't seen this yet, you definitely should! It's the most hilarious Bjork video (or ANY music video, in fact) that I have ever seen! In it, Bjork is in a relationship with a kitty, and gets in a fight with him and goes to the bar and makes a bunch of weird sounds with her crazy Icelandic friends!
It's a little bit hard to find (I don't think you can download it anywhere online), but if you're a Bjork fan, you can see it on the Medulla videos DVD.

hehe, I thought that the title of this was supposed to be interpreted as "Bjork, Baby!!!!" (in the same vein as "Vegas, Baby!!!!) But those are excellent pictures- I'd never really seen any pictures of Isabella before this, except for that one of her as an infant that you had shown me John.

The thing I dislike about these polls is that you can't fit all the songs of most albums on them, and so I always feel guilty for leaving some off . Oh well, anyways, my favourite currently is "Manhole" (which I am listening to right now), but I also adore Knuckle Down, Sunday Morning, Recoil, Parameters, Modulation, and Lag Time. ;D

Hooray! I got the cd the day it came out, and I am in complete adoration of it! Andrew Bird is one of my other favourite artists, and its great to hear him on this album. Todd Sickafoose is great too, and of course our beloved righteous babe is as well

Ani and Tori are two components of my little "trinity" hehehe , and so I have been extremely overjoyed lately with both of their new albums coming out. I also just found out yesterday that Andrew Bird has a new one coming out next month as well, so I added that to my list of celebration. Oh yeah, and if you're wondering, miss Bjork is the third segment of my little trinity, and she came out with Medulla not too long ago, so I've got a new album from each of my goddesses in the same six month period!!

I am almost as much of an Ani freak as I am a Toriphile. ;D Ani has over 15 albums so far, so it would be tough to identify the songs with only hearing two of the albums.

It makes me feel guilty to not be able to include all the songs, but they only give you 8 slots to work with . So I chose the top songs I've heard Bjork fans say they enjoyed the most (and maybe my own personal biases influenced it just a little bit ). I'd have to say that Ancestors is definitely my favourite. It's just so raw and primal- I just love the throatsinger. I also really adore Where is the Line, Oceania, and Mouth's Cradle.
