Hope they come to the U.S. - I can only see them if they play NYC or somewhere close to me in the northeast. I am thrilled that they are finally releasing a new album - IT"S ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!

^ YES! I love DMB but Some Devil is probably Dave's best work. Gravedigger is one of my favorite songs of all time, by anyone.

I can't believe there aren't many fans of Dave here! Oh well, I love him, too.

I think Alicia is talented but I only like a few songs. For someone who is a classically trained pianist, every time I have seen her perform in the past year or 2, she hasn't played much piano. She plays for the beginning of the song & then gets up & starts dancing. That bugs me. India Arie is MUCH better, love her.

I was in marching band in high school. I played the flute and the alto sax. I actually was fairly good, but i haven't played either in years. I think I could still make it sound like I was playing music on the flute if I picked one up now. I have always wanted to learn to play the piano, maybe someday.

Another one that makes me cry EVERY TIME is Tori's cover of Vincent (Starry Starry Night). The original by Don McLean makes me tear up a little but nothing like T's version. She puts so much emotion into it.

^ Thanks ...yeah, I love how people can interpret stuff in many different ways too...probably one of the reasons I love Tori so much, because there are many ways to interpret her songs ...you got to see Imogen, I am SOOO jealous!

My pretty LONG list(as of late cuz I'm an emotional mess ;D ): Imogen Heap - Speeding Cars Kate Bush - Running Up that Hill Mazzy Star - Fade Into You ME TOO...Especially lately, Speeding Cars by Imogen...I equate this with someone who is suicidal or an addict of some kind and I have dealt with deaths recently that were a result of one or the other. But, enough of depressing stuff!

Sia- Breathe me Tori- ICSNY, Toast, Winter, Gold Dust Fisher - Mary Wise Up- Aimee Mann Amen, Omen- Ben Harper Fall Apart Again - Brandi Carlile (something about the way she sings this, especially the part where she says "and I think the world of myself but the world doesn't think much of me" just gets me in the gut sometimes) wow, I think I could actually go on with this list...what a freakin' sap I am!!

I'm not allowed within 200 feet of Lou Rhodes... *Sigh*It's a horrible but necessary self-imposed rule. Awwww....sorry teppic ;D I miss Lamb, too Saar, and i didn't even know that Lou HAD a solo album! Now, if Portishead would actually finally come out with their new album sometime soon I might be able to forget, at least temporarily anyway, that Lamb doesn't have anything new.
