Yeah, unfortunately I have the same problem and I think it's genetics, sadly. My nails aren't too bad as long as I keep them kind of short. If I try to grow them just a little bit long, forget it. I have used stuff from Citre-Shine for split ends that helps a little, but everything that I have tried for splitting nails doesn't do shit! Aargh!

^ Ha ha! I don't know! Maybe because they think it's just the bangs, how hard can it be? Plus, if only the bangs really need a trim they don't want to pay money for that. Just a guess. : )

^ I think you're right! When I was little, though, it was my mom's fault. I remember her trying to cut my bangs and she ended up cutting them too short because she was trying to make them even. I looked like a boy, but at least I wasn't in school yet!

I tried to cut my own hair once, too. Yikes! I had a really short cut when I was first in college back when I was 18-19. It was a cute "pixie" cut but to stay cute it needed to be cut often. Being a poor college student I couldn't afford a haircut so I attempted to do it myself. I ended up looking like one of The Beatles. It wasn't too bad at first but once it started to grow a little, which only takes about a week or so for me, it was REALLY AWFUL!! My friends would not let me live it down. And what is worse is that I looked like this when my Mom decided that she wanted to get professional pics taken of me and my sister, so now that lapse in judgment is forever immortalized and framed on the wall in my mother's living room!!

When I was a teenager I used Manic Panic hair dye, I think it was pink ( I was in a punk phase). My hair was too dark to take much of the color, it only gave me highlights, however, it stained my skin when I washed it out in the shower, and I had pink ALL OVER my body! It took days to come off, and I actually missed a couple of days of school. I felt like such an idiot, LOL!

^ I'm with you, lots of brands stop at a certain cup size. And bigger sized bras often look AWEFUL indeed. Like something a fucking granny would wear! I agree! www.liverpool.com/assets/_files/images/oct_07/lb_liv__1192608576_bra_ex_large.jpg And I don't understand why they put all this stuff in big bras too. If someone already had big breasts, she don't need bra with pillows inside. WTF is wrong with these people I love nice lingerie, especially knickers. But I hate buying bras for the same reasons as people have already mentioned here, too big boobs and buying nice bra for big boobs is usually expansive. But I like watching nice underwear and dreaming if I could only wear this I always watch Victoria's Secret shows on TV but I have to say that their last collection sucks. And this corset marmaid is absolutely stunning ;D Yeah, super padding in larger sized bras is kind of dumb, but even at a DD I need some padding because I always have a nipple hard-on, LOL!

I absolutely adore Lush & The Body Shop - when I lived in NYC there was a Lush near my school and I had to seriously talk myself out of buying stuff there every time I walked by. Especially when the doors were open, the smell of the place is intoxicating. I also use Origins cosmetics when I have the money, they are kind of expensive. I love their lipstick pencils.

Yay for another Indy!! I couldn't believe it when I heard they were going to be making this, Harrison Ford seemed too old to be kicking ass like he used to, but it looks like he pulled it off. Can't wait!!

I'm a huge fan of Neil Gaiman and the Potter books, but I do agree that BOTH authors have definitely had some inspiration from other stories that came before and inserted it into their work. But I think that it is difficult to not let your influences creep into your work. My dad thinks that EVERY fantasy novel that comes out is a rip-off of Lord of the Rings, so....

Well, I LOVED Batman Begins because it is truer to the comic books & Christian Bale fucking rocks as the Dark Knight, but I have to say that I am a huge fan of the original ones with Michael Keaton. Yeah, they are kinda cartoonish in a way, but I thought that made it fun. Plus, I think that Michael Keaton is a great actor. However, Batman Begins is definitely the best out of all of them and I cannot wait for the sequel. I also heard that Anthony Michael Hall is in it & I love him on the show The Dead Zone.

[ The one good thing is since it's based upon a book you can always read that to find out how it was going to end. Oh, but don't take the shortcut to finding out the ending via the film version as it had some things changed (so i'm told by someone who read it), and the ending is quite different. I have read the book, but you never know, they might change the ending, just to make it happier and not to end it with Johnny on the run after killing Stilson...that is how it ends, right? I haven't read the book in a while!

I'm just getting into Lost again, actually. I wasn't able to watch it much this season once my semester at college started, and it has taken me a few eps to figure out what is happening. I really hope they don't screw this show up! Yeah, during the last 2 seasons of the X-Files the ongoing story arc just got too crazy, although it still had some great moments. I didn't see the last season of The Dead Zone, because I don't have cable and I got into the show by watching the DVDS, & Season 4 comes out in July. I hope Season 5 kicks butt because if not the show will be cancelled & rumor is that it ends in a cliffhanger, so, if that's the case we will never know how the Armageddon storyline ends! That would be a real friggin' bummer!

Yeah, I know what you mean, Spacedog! Like the X-Files, for example. Talk about feeling jipped!! The way they ended that series was a HUGE letdown!!

Come on Spacedog, Quantum Leap was a good show, at least IMO! I read the book but never saw the movie. I love Christopher Walken and all but I have always thought that he would be too creepy in that role! But maybe that's just me!
