I haven't been to any shows yet this year. Once upon a time I went to several shows every year, at least in the summer. I haven't been to a show in at least a year. I was going to go see Feist in Massachusetts recently but I just didn't have the money for tix, hotel, etc. I am planning on going to at least one if not 2 Tori shows, probably NYC, and maybe one in Connecticut.

[/IMG] Thanks for the info, dear!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey, have you heard... our Ani is pregnant!!!!!
You're welcome Raspy dear! Yes, I heard she was preggo - I'm happy for her, but for some reason I never saw her as the type to have children - she just works TOO DAMN MUCH for one thing! But it's great, & I'm sure she will be a fantastic mom!

I just got Ani Difranco's new album on Monday!! It is freakin awesome! Ani's voice sounds so beautiful, clear and rich. It's kinda mellow, but it still kicks ass! Decree, Millenium Theater, 78% Water, Nictotine & Subconcious are my faves at the moment, but that keeps changing because I think all the songs are really great!

I like Toby as well...I saw her perform on a talk show & loved her voice...I like the album but as far as chick singers in that blusey/pop style go , I like KT Tunstall A LOT better! That girl is fabulous!

You're welcome Raspy! I know how much you Ms. Difranco so I thought that you'd want to know along with some other Ani fans here. I LOOOVVE her too! And she is very busy, I don't know how the hell she does it, but I'm certainly not complaining!!

Yeah Rasp, I just happened to find it in a funky record store in Greenwich Village here in NYC. It was the only one they had! I'm just lucky I guess! Ani is a VERY busy girl, especially considering that she had that problem with tendonitis in her hands recently. That woman is a damn trooper!! P.S. I LOVE the bunny smilies!! SOOOO CUTE!!!

;D HA HA HA HA!!! The New Kids!! Yes, I'm ashamed to admit, though I was young that I had a framed poster of Donnie Wahlberg on my wall!! But I think the New Kids were in the early 90's if I'm not mistaken. "Real" 80's music that I like is: U2, The Cure, Tears for Fears, New Order, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Van Halen, some Madonna, REM, The Eagles, Duran Duran..... I could probably go on forever! I am an 80's Slut!! Heh heh!

I like Sarah alot too. Fumbling Towards Ecstasy is her best, I think, although I still like some of her newer music. That album just speaks to me. I like the Afterglow Live album better than the studio one. I saw her live on that tour and she puts on a great show - plus, the set was quite neat as well. The singer that opened up for her, Butterfly Boucher is also very good. Anyone else like her, or even heard of her?

^ Lol, exactly! Folklore was such a GREAT album. I heard that she described her last album as "hip hop punk", and that made me go WTF?! There is NO punk on that album as far as I can tell! Hip hop slut maybe! "Eve, the Apple of My Eye" - Bell X1

^ Well, if I win the lottery, your plane ticket will be the first thing I buy! Am listening to Sia - Breathe Me... and then I shall go to bed, 'cos it's already 1.30am! Aw, that's sweet Saar! I would love to visit, I have never been out of the U.S. unfortunately. Someday when I become rich! And for the Sia love - "Breathe Me" has to be one of my favorite songs by anyone ever!
