Thanks for sharing those! I'm utterly smitten with his work... I love political irony. I shared quite a few of his images with some friends via email... I love discovering new artists. It makes me feel more connected to the world.

Art is subjective by nature, but I love surrealism. I visited the Dali museum in Barcelona and was captivated by it all. I studied art at school and he was one of my major inspirations for my major work. I bought a copy of this print at the museumand had it mounted. It now hangs on the wall in my lounge room. I think these images are used in the Linkin Park video "somewhere I belong"... Didn't know they were Dali...

I Escher, but I can not stand Dali's work. I dunno, I just do not like it. I did a whole project around Escher at school once, the kids absolutely loved it. ... i can see where the surrealism (at least his brand of it), would tend to be a tad disturbing...

Naw... I'm not that good with Watercolour. I found it at this site called DeviantArt (www.deviantart.com). Go there and type Tori's name into the search engine. LOTS of artwork.

Naw... hadn't even thought about what the back of the cards would look like (yet). Like I said, they're a work in progress.

Thank you for your imput, Jer. One thing tho'... those are just scans of colored pencil drawings (some felt tips too). I haven't touched them up with any computer art programs (yet). Yes, the man in the Emperor card is Christ. My cards do have a decided Christian mythology to them... I've never personally seen Tarot cards like them. And usually in my carnival dream I see the Rider-Waite deck. Sometimes I see the deck that I started out with, but I don't know the name of it. It had Greek and Roman mythology themes to it.
