greys as resident... like brain matter? "One aspect of the UFO Phenomena that has been getting a great deal of press lately is the idea of being abducted by extraterrestrials for some purpose. The number of books that is being written on this subject is expanding geometrically. I guess some of the best researchers or authors on this subject could be considered Bud Hopkins, who found through his hypnotic regression sessions that several women were claiming being impregnated with alien seed for half human and half alien babies and recently, well known psychologist John Mack. The purpose of this section is to try to examine various aspect of the Abduction scenario plus look at one of the visiting races which appears to consistantly be involved in some capacity, the Greys from Zeta Reticuli. How do we know that this race comes from Zeta Reticuli? Well according to abductees, they have received such information and also the famous case of Betty & Barney Hill. When Betty was hypnotised she remembers the leader of the UFO she was taken upon, showing her a Star Map, when she asked him, where they came from. In one of her hypnotic sessions, she was able to reproduce the star map and then Margerie Fisch(?) was able to plot the points in the map to show the aliens Mrs. Hill met came from this Star System. We call this race of extraterrestials the "Greys", due to the color of their skin which is grayish in color. Many people who have been regressed, have been able to draw the same type of body form with a small mouse, nose and ears and very large eyes, insectoid in a fashion. Therefore, we shall share information in this section which describes this race as well to better understand the possible purpose (if possible) from their perspective of these abductions. Based upon the large number of people reporting this type of experience, it appears that more and more people are being abducted. The problem is, that the official agencies of the world, who I am sure are aware of this situation, are not helping the people of our world, by giving them information to prepare for such an experience. Therefore in one of our sections, we will look at suggestions of how one can prevent such an experience. Although, you will also find in this section some abductees who feel that even though the experience was very painful and emotionally damaging, that the end result of this experience was an expansion of awareness. We will try to look at various angles of these types of events to see how it relates to the manifestation of the Aquarian Age. Therefore, we will try to share a sampling of information from various sources, to see if we can get a better perspective on this aspect of the UFO Phenomenon. You will hear from abductees (like Whitley Strieber) as well as researchers working with people and their cases which involved abduction. While I am not a psychologist in any sense of the word, I do feel that somehow, even if I can not say definitively as I do not have a conscious memory of having direct contact with an alien, I have had sensitives tell me that I have guides who are extraterrestrial and I have had my share of strange experiences. Through my own process of spiritual unfoldment and trying to be open to ideas impressed from spirit and unseen friends, a certain technique has come to me, which I feel can help people in dealing with such encounters. Another cute "out of the mouths of babes": My stepson, Nathan (whom I've posted a picture of here at the Afterglow...in the 'got a cloud' section under the heading "yay"), commented to me when he was all of four, that if the Holy Spirit was so much larger than we were, and if people were filled with the Holy Spirit, that it (the Holy Spirit) should then spill out onto other people. Logically.

Here's one for you: Also, thought I'd share a story with you: about a year ago, an eight year old daughter of a friend shared a picture for me that she had just drawn. In it, Christ was black, and wearing a blue robe. He was surrounded by children, some of which were smiling, some of which were crying, some were holding his hand, one was even picking a flower next to Jesus' feet. He had his arms outstretched, and he had his head tipped back, as if he were appealing to the heavens. On the bottom of the drawing, she had written, "Jesus was a white witch who died alone." I asked her who had taught her that, and she said, "why? Isn't it right?" and I told her it was probably a lot more accurate that anything I'd heard lately, and she said, "nobody told me. It's just what I believe". And there you have it -- out of the mouth of a little girl. Reason for Editing: repost picture

;D Yes... you and I agree on quite a few points. It's actually always seemed strange to classify myself as a Christian... because of how the essence of Christ has been twisted and mottled. Look at the Crusades, or even holy wars of late. The Bible talks about Christ having hair the texture of lamb's wool. Definitely not a caucasian head of hair!! Dug up an interesting photo... doesn't have anything to do with the thread, I just thought it was sorta kewl/strange. It's the former guitarist for the band KORN, Brian "Head" Welch, getting baptized. Sorta looks like Jesus, don't he?

Yes, I tend to agree with you when it comes to the Bible, and, well, everything you said above. No need to re-iterate. I guess that must be why my PERSONAL relationship with Christ (or maybe, what I believe he stood for?) is so special to me. Because no book, no preacher, no authority figure told me to believe, I just did. I also believe in a lot of things that aren't necessarily biblical, but that doesn't stop me from learning more about them and forming opinions that shape my personality and life style. I have always had a really strong spirtual base in my life, even when I was using drugs and being promiscuous and all the other "sins" ( according to judeo-christianity) that I have committed. I've always been able to "chat with the cat." When Tori wrote, "I got a Cat named Easter he says, 'will you ever learn, you're just an empty cage girl , if you kill the bird'", or "Me and Jesus a few years back used to hang and he said 'it's your choice just re-mem-ber, I don't think you'll be back in three days' time, so you choose well'", it really touched me, because it's like, she acknowledges him as a relevant presence in her life, without attaching this patriarchial dominance to it.

don't believe he existed, or don't believe he was the messiah? by the way, i don't believe that he's the ONLY one who was infused with a holy spirit. i think he's just the most celebrated one.

Well, All i know is that Christ was non-denominational. He's just alway been a part of my life, ever since i was a toddler. I actually asked my parents who he was, scared the crap outta them, too whilst inquiring. Asked them (when I was about two) who the guy was in my room at night and who always watched me. It took some time, but they finally got to the bottom of it... i kept asking them who "your-way" (Yahweh?) was. I refuse to let any orgainized religion, ESPECIALLY "Christianity" get in between me and my spirituality, which I define as my relationship with not only Christ, but the Earth, the heavens, and other people. I guess I still have alot of questions about "what's out there...", but what I DON'T believe is that we (humans) are alone in the galaxy. It's too vast, and we're still evolving. Maybe "they" are just "us", evolved. I don't know if I WANNA know who "they" are, it's just a topic that I don't believe to be taboo, necessarily, just because I know Christ. I also recall playing with fairies in the cherry blossom trees in my backyard when I was growing up, and I believe (clap, clap, clap,) that those are sound memories. Please don't call for the straight jacket... I know it sounds crazy, but those memories of the fairies mean as much to me as Christ does.

I'll pm you sometime and tell you what I REALLY think about "it all". I don't wanna open up a can of worms out here... unless someone is craving worms? I have some pretty far-out ideas (pardon the pun), sort of a Jesus/Alien thing... my tarot cards (the ones I'm making) reflect this theme. I "believed" (and still believe) in things.. all sorts of things ... years before I was told not to (or told to, but for different reasons than I already had). If any of this makes sense, believe (there's that word again) me, I'd be sorta surprised. You know what my favorite bumper sticker of all time says? "Beam me up, Jesus." Sorta sums it up. Anyhoo...

I wrote this after I saw a little boy at the store that looked like my son.
my monster
Thought I saw Your towhead today Your eyes Your smile so sweetly I choke down the bile Rising up from the pits Of the hate that I feel Towards the strange And utterly foreign Abandoning monster That is me.

^ Neil Gaiman is a fantastic writer in terms of comic book writing, though when you dont read comics reading a comic for the first time is often odd (my sister says she cant figure out how to read them!). Do you (or anyone else) have any recommendations on his work? I know some authors have "easier" reads to start out with...

I just checked out "Death -- The High Cost of Living" by Neil Gaiman from our public library. I'm attempting to expose myself to his work... I don't usually read comics, so it's sorta weird for me.
