Hi, I'm a man of 60 years and a fan of Tori since '03. Not a long time but she has been my main music focus since then. I'm a truck driver in Denver Colorado and a grandfather of two . I'm a nice guy and here to talk Tori.  |

^ Yes she does, I have a CD on my player of all solo radio station appearances, just Tori and her Bose, and no kids yelling " I love you Tori and play this and that". It's just her beautiful voice and piano. I also have Arcade Fire, Kate Bush and Pink Floyd. All great driving music, for me.

Thanks Saar, what would we do now with no Ipods or MP3 players? I love mine, just a 1gig but it has what I love on it and I get many comments from people at my stops.
I got 2 started to like and listen to Tori, 4 for Arcade Fire, 2 for Kate and many for Pink Floyd.
Most never heard of Tori, or Arcade Fire and even less knew of Kate.
Many were surprised that Animals by Pink Floyd was over 30 years old now.
All of my music loves have that "timeless sound" and will be around for ever.

I became very good friends with a member from an other forum. I trusted her so much as to give her my home phone number. It was so sweet to hear her voice. That first night we talked for hours, playing each other music we love. She played me songs from Arcade Fire.
I am not big on the new music as Tori and Kate are my main music focus, but the AF sound is so different to what's out there now that the next day I went down to my fave music store and picked up Funeral and Neon Bible. I talk music to the attendant at the gas station I use and he was so happy to know I like Arcade Fire that he burned me a copy of the EP, the very fist release. His friend was also there that night and he gave me a copy of Bells Orchestre, a group with members from Arcade Fire playing on it. NO singing, only instrumentals. IMO a beautiful album for night time play.

Thanks, I'm not a big rig driver but a 15ft Box truck around the Denver area. Tori is my co-pilot, and has been for 5 years on the road. Oh and I just looked and I have Karma, WOW! thanks. I'm so new to have this so soon! |
