I watched Trainspotting again on the weekend - time to dust off some old flicks. I've read a few of Irvine Welsh's novels which have been great.. but Trainspotting takes the cake. "I chose not to choose life, I chose something else". Do you know, I've never, ever seen Trainspotting? ;D Haven't been avoiding it or anything, just somehow...

Wanted to rent Léon and Rush and the stupid video store is closed. Léon is ace. I think that was the first 18 rated film I ever saw at the cinema ;D Don't know what Rush is

I haven't seen it yet, but indeed Der Untergang is great, just like the director's previous movie Das Experiment (the experiment). Oh yeah, I've been wanting to see that too! I will have to see if I can rent it out but it's probably not that easy to find in the UK I've got The Village, Sideways and Hero to watch this week

What a girl wants Bad ! Bad! Bad! Booooooo ;D You can just tell this film is going to be awful from the cover ;D. Conversely, yesterday I watched Downfall (Der Untergang) which was excellent. It's a German movie about the last days of Hitler's reign. Beautifully filmed and acted. Alexandra Maria Lara and Juliane Köhler are rather nice too but then I've alway been a sucker for that prim forties look

Saw Dodgeball and The Grudge yesterday.
Dodgeball was pretty funny. One or two particularly comical bits that I giggled like a naughty schoolgirl at ;D Ok, it's cliched but it's gotta be really hasn't it? David Hasselhoff and William Shatner are in it too... so you can't really go wrong can you? ;D
I fell asleep before the end of of The Grudge (American version btw) but not because it seemed that awful just that I was watching it at 3am. It was 'ok' as far as I watched...
Anyone seen these? What do you reckon?

Hmm I don't think a sequel is really necessary Still, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt until I see it I suppose!

I 'saw' this too I thought it was good. Pretty sick at times but quite absorbing and a good twist at the end. For those who haven't seen it , it's a bit similar in style to 'Seven'

Oh i totally agree Steve! Kate's character is fucking annoying! But i think Kate Winslet does it greeat ;D Yeah Kate is great at being really annoying! ;D Btw my favourite characters in this were actually the three young employees at the memory erase centre thing. Elijah Wood, Kirsten Dunst and that other bloke whose name I don't know! Also ;D ;D ;D to Jim Carrey's character wanking off to comic porn!

I saw this last week. I liked it though I have to say Kate Winslett's character really got on my nerves "am I ugly?" oh shut up! I like Kate but she was annoying in this. It has some great moments though and is pretty funny at times. The ending was a bit But then I was probably just a bit slow ... and drunk when I saw it

Ooh just noticed this! As I was saying in the other thread I missed the end of the film but I thought it was ok for about the 2/3 I did watch. I wasn't that scared though... but that's obviously cos I'm pretty macho ;D I was gonna say it's cos I'm 'hard' but then I realised that that statement was bound to get ridiculed with muchos innuendo on this board!

Hey Bugg, I watched this the other night! It's good but weird! What do you think it's really about? All that spanking! What your perception? Maggie was in Donnie Darko and I think is in Mona Lisa Smile, James Spader was in Stargate and Crash (another pervy film ) and lots of other things I'm sure!
