So the clouds are linked to how much of a postwhore we are but are the song titles next to them also linked? Or is that something else entirely cos people seem to have different titles below their names & I was wondering how they are decided upon for each person It's just that I've literally just noticed that I'm now a Fat Slut ;D

You know I think I only saw about 3 films from 2007... Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix (there's always something wrong with the HP films since I don't think they can possibly ever get all the book stuff in but this was still a great film...Snape was the best as per usual but I also loved how they did Luna & Umbridge & the big ending ) Atonement - LOVED this film & I wasn't expecting to, I've not read the book but my Mum had & dragged me to this & I was very pleasantly surprised...the music is just beautiful too The Simpsons - pretty good, not stellar but it was funny so mission accomplished I guess. And I that's all I watched this year...well of films from 2007 anyway, I mostly hid away with my ever growing dvd collection this year

I'm thinking of seeing it cos it looks like the sort of film I'd enjoy (I LOVE stories like The Chronicles of Narnia - already obsessing over when the trailer for the new Narnia film comes out!! ) But I haven't heard the best reviews etc for this film so I might just wait til I can rent it or something...

My mum dropped me several very heavy hints over the weekend that I should expect this as a Xmas gift so I shouldn't go buy it myself...I'm not sure I have enough patience, I want to watch it now damnit!

I LOVED the first 2 Batman films (seriously adore the 1st one in particular) but with each of the later films I've disliked them more & more...Batman Begins was admittedly better than the one with Arnie in as Dr. Freeze or whatever but then that's not a particularly hard feat to achieve in my opinion! ;D But yeah, I'm actually not looking forward to this film, mainly cos it has the Joker in & in my view absolutely nothing whatsoever can ever come near Jack Nicholson's Joker from the 1st film He is my favourite part of that film (I actually remember almost crying when I was little when he died ) And I rewatch the 1st Batman so many times, simply to enjoy Jack's scenes but then I am a big ol' Jack Nicholson freak so... (Oh and I know they're adapting this new film so it's all a different style & mood etc so this Joker won't be like Jack's Joker but it's still the Joker & thus Jack wins every time for me! )

You know...I actually can't think of a single show I love/loved that has had a finale that was great in my opinion, they either outright sucked & were cheesey or had something annoying about them or just did nothing for me Deep Space Nine; just tied everything up neatly and was a good send off for so many characters other than Sisko becoming a god, WTF?! Lol, DS9 finale was ok but I was SO annoyed that they sent Odo away to cure the other changelings, I was like "Wtf?! They just spent the last few years trying to conquer the universe & killed however many people in the war, who cares if they have that changeling disease!" Maybe I'm just mean He SO would have stayed with Kira on DS9 if I had written that episode, but then I was a huge Kira/Odo fan from season 1 or 2 so... ETA: Oh and I despise the existence of Bashir so I would have killed him off too

I loooooove horror films Nice choices btw A few of mine are: Halloween (none of those awful sequels please, the original only! ) This is just one of those classic horror films, everything about it is scary, the mood, the pacing, the music (which I adore btw). The story is simple enough & pretty standard fare in horror films (though I believe this was a big influence on the surge of slasher horror films that have been made since so that gives it extra cool points ) but the thing I really love about it is that you never really know why Michael is going around killing people, they never filter his scariness by explaining every little detail about his motvies or the things that led him to what he did/does in the film & I find that bloomin' scary, especially at the beginning of the film...of course the sequels ruined that element of mystery so I just ignore them Nightmare on Elm St (again ignoring most of the sequels...I liked the 7th ;D) And again I'm repeating myself...but it's a classic! The whole dream/nightmare, what's real, what isn't, the fact that no-one believes her, so no-one helps her...terrifying! Parts that always stick in my mind are the scenes where Freddie sort of 'stretches' the wall & leans over Nancy as she sleeps but then disappears as she wakes up & the same where he stretches the mattress & reaches for her but never actually breaks through, it's just creepy as hell! I remember being utterly terrified to go to sleep after watching this film the 1st time & kept hearing those horrid children singing that 'Freddie's coming for you' Nursery rhyme in my head When A Stranger Calls (the original 1979 version) It's the creepiness factor here that gets me & the fact that I used to (& still do from time to time) do babysitting for some people, I ALWAYS hated to answer the phone when I was babysitting I may come back & add more once I've hit my dvd collection...of course you could put several Hitchcock films here, though I suppose you could argue they are more thriller than horror sometimes, anyway...The Birds is brilliant, love Rear Window & Strangers on a Train, think Psycho is over-rated
